Here's some pics of an alleged UK Cheese i found from the web years ago.

Can't remember who grew it/took the pictures but there's a stamp on some photos:

To me, this plant in the pictures look different to Spaventa's cut, but it looks similar to another alleged UK Cheese grown by a guy called knobby in 2008.
To me, the plant in these pics above and knobby's cut look like the stuff i have smoked in Amsterdam as UK Cheese.

Here's the link to knobby's Cheese grow thread:

Nice. Maybe we found her after all

. Noticeably not as sticky as the GG4 which is annoying if you get it on you, genuinely like contact adhesive.
.

The cheese I grew years back had more of a 'greasy' resin than sticky like the glue.Much easier to remove from scissors, gloves etc. from what I recall.

The only reason I haven't uploaded pics is I have a severe infestation of thrips and fungus gnats and the last thing I want to do is show that kind of shit on here.

Mate thats the cut I have Im sure!! same more vertical, upright but still zig zag. The resin formation and bud development look identical. Whatever they are they are the same I think.

Seriously, look at the latest pictures of ours

Hey Spav..
Difficult to say. To me, your plant looks abit more compact and a bit leafier than the "alleged Cheese"and knobby's cut, but i have never grown UK Cheese personally, so i don't know how grow techniques and environment affects it.

Do you have any early flowering pics of your cut, cause the way the buds develop on knobby's cut and the other alleged UK Cheese, especially on the pics i just posted, is quite peculiar/unique?

i know that in hydro/coco plants can grow more leaves than they would in soil. But in soil, i haven't seen that plants take that much different shapes cause they might be grown in small or abit larger pots, or under hps or LEDs, but that could be more of a plant specific thing. But all my plants are grown always in relatively small pots, from 3 to 12 litres of potting soil, usually in about 6 litre pots.

I have grown GHS Exodus Cheese (10 different plants), three ChunkyCheese ladies and some Cheeseberries and they seemed to grow quite similar from grow to grow, the keepers that is. My grows are usually far from perfect, and my tent-environment changes thru out the year from cold dry winter to humid summers with tent temps around 30 + Celsius. In the end the buds have looked more or less the same.

Somehow your plant look more like an old Skunk (from Nevil) than the alleged Cheese i posted, but it could be caused by the environment, i dunno.

On the resin..
Small resin isn't a 100% proof of a cut being the real UK Cheese, thou it's a noticeable trait of Cheese, cause it seems to pass that small resin-trait onto her offspring, the same way Haze does sometimes. I have few cuts of Cheeseberry as keepers and they also have those small resin glands.

:::
One other thing to look for, that's visible on knobby's cut and the other alleged Cheese, but was also on the UK Cheese i've smoked in Amsterdam, it's the color of the ripe flower; this sort of "pale army green", know what i mean.
:::

Don't get me wrong mate, i'm not trying to discourage you or make you second guess, it would be really cool if you guys would find the real Cheese, and maybe your cut is IT.

Like i mentioned, i have never grown UK Cheese myself, nor have i seen/smelled a flowering UK Cheese plant. I'm far from being a Cheese expert and i don't pretend to be one, i'm just a big fan of the plant.
..so don't throw it a way, just because i thought it looks abit different than the "alleged Cheese"/knobby's cut. Heh-heh!

Maybe if you guys could find away to pass the cut over to English Rick to see what he thinks of it.

I hope your cut is it, if not, hope you'll find it one day.
Peace.

Oh, BTW..
Now i get it when some of you say UK Cheese smells abit like juniper, and how to English Rick it smelled abit like black currants.

A week ago, after a rain i walked past few junipers and there clearly was a "UK Cheese-ish" smell in the air; Not sharp, pine tar-ish juniper but the floral side of the smell.

I'm not a huge fan of black currants but the other day i had some black currant cake roll-thingy, and sure i can see how Rick says Cheese has some of that smell.

The dried flower i have had in Amsterdam few times has parts of those aromas + something else perfumery. ..and skunky ofcourse
When i smoked it the first time, when it was grown to perfection, the taste in my mouth was quite like blueberry but not that sweet at all like some DJ's BB can be. The other times after that the grow had been much worse and the blueberry-notes didn't come thru as well, it was more perfumey.

Yours should look like this one.

Yea man, ive been blind to what ya all been looking at really, hands up ! That is Defo not the One that should be, i never experienced Enviromental factors that have had such an effect in making her look so Different. If the plants Fat she's fat,if slim she's slim. I agree with mack. Looks like the Cheesexnorthernlights, which is the (official) BRIGHTSIDE Cheese x Northern lights. I grew her lots some time ago, Theres far less branching on that one.

Always look on the brightside of life fellas :D

...you hav'nt taken many snips away from that have ya ?

Me and spent both got our cut from this guy bird if I'm correct??? It has gotta be environmental factors contributing to appearance... We have the same exact cut 100% , but the growth is different... Sounds like they are smelling the same..., growth can vary lets hope the end product rings the bell... I'm definitely not the one to say if its legit ill leave that to UK guys ... But this plant seems to check every box ... Red striping, branching, double serrations, obnoxious stank, Id bet the room there in the ones in the og room will foxtail... Probably would of already if the stretched like I was expecting... Id likem at least a ft taller in this room.. Even on a booster seat still under the top trellis..

Mine has a pretty horizontal branching habit and is far less upright than the outdoor one shown above,or spavs early bloom pic,and it's the same cut..I'll post bud shots when the time comes but for now it's mostly thrip damaged leaves and got fungus gnats circling.
