One thing that has been bugging me about these type threads is that even though many of the beliefs, views and opinions regarding politics, expressed in this thread and others like it are often completely opposite from my own, I would still rather spend my time with the people in these threads I don't agree with than with people who believe what I believe, think like I think, and see things exactly as I do, on every single possible subject, except for cannabis.
Basically the thing that binds US, cannabis, is all I have to have in common with someone. Everything else..... we'd be too fkn high to remember if we met in real life anyway!
Growing up, my neighborhood was tight. We would argue. Sometimes there was nothing that could be done to stop two of us from wanting to throw some fkn chingasos! Sometimes, motherfukers gotta fight! But you can bet your ass, if we caught word that Delano or the Vineland boys were gonna maybe roll through.....all that other bullshit meant nothing.

Together, we whooped some ass and together we took some horrendous beatings.
I miss that shit. The knowing, that in the end, Somebody had my back as much as I had theirs. Knowing it even though it was never mentioned. Like knowing your pops would fuk somebody up if they messed you, even though he never said it. You just knew he would.

Sorry but I wanted to go MUCH MUCH further, I don't know what/how some people think. He has broken most of his promises and has little chance to implement his nutjob agenda. Jail Trump!
We must vote for people that will actually do good for the common person and not just the rich, that goes for all levels of govt. I don't think any major action good or bad will happen with the current cast of characters anytime soon. My apologies for feeling so strongly about this but I am just scratching the surface. As much as I detest Trump for a lot of reasons I'm not ready to frame it in those terms. I'll let Mueller sort all that out. Not that I'm a fan of stiff dick law enforcement types at all but he seems to have a certain proven integrity.
Regardless of accusations of collusion I think it's clear that the Russians hacked the DNC & Podesta, then released the results through wikileaks at a time calculated to help Trump & hurt Clinton. They generated huge amounts of fake news & innuendo as well. His campaign & the Repub noise machine made a lot of hay out of the info that Trump had back handedly asked the Russians to provide.
The most disturbing part is that Trump supporters apparently never even blinked when they found themselves on the same side of the argument as Russian Psyops, never even considered the implications at all & still don't. Trump... does something to their minds... that's very disturbing.

This is not a "love trump thread" either which you don't seem to understand. We are talking politicians and policies so let's face it, it's all part of the same beast and you can't just talk about it's toenail but have to discuss the whole beast.
No nothing is absolutely proven yet but to anyone on the left or middle and even a fair number of conservatives can see where this is lvery ikely leading if they are not wearing blindfolds. Much of the basics were the same before the election, the general jist was already common knowledge, so if treason is in fact proven I feel Trump voters and supporters are guilty of supporting treason and therefore guilty themselves. At the very least they should be very ashamed of thsmselves and embarassed. Yes this guy is supposedly full of intergrty (Mueller) but Trump can still fire him and it is not therefore a truly independent investigation which is what we need.

It's remarkable what conservatives read into that. The questions were beyond obvious & nothing that Clinton wasn't prepared to answer. One was about the death penalty, as if she hadn't already staked out a position. The other was a question about Flint water at a town hall in Flint, another no-brainer.
It's not like anybody told her anything she didn't already know.
Going on about it is also also a form of running away. Hillary lost. Trump won with a lot of help from Russia. Even go so far as to reject the idea that there was active collusion. The fact remains that they wanted Trump to win & actively helped him. It's not like they really want to help this country, either. Quite the contrary.
