McCarthy looks to have aged 5 years in his new job, the last thing he needs is to keep it
but he will and pay the price for every day
he is to be pitied
but, they'll be mean to him, call him a RINO and other mean horrible nasty things...to which he should gracefully reply
and tell them where to put their displeasure. 
I'm not so sure how much the Dems can protect him though. I mean they could possibly get him thru the budget issue because there are republican reps that will support that because they're in Purple states but then after that all it would take is for Matt Gaetz (and it likely would be Matt Gaetz) to vowant to vacate hi from office and since McCarthy is largely seen as responsible for all the trouples with the House the Republicans would likely all fall in line for that since voting McCarthy out wouldn't necessarily be something that would threaten purple state republicans but letting him stay in is something the voters in purple states might see as a betrayal. I'll admit though I don't fully understans this vacating the office rule as it now stands so there may be a way the dems can protect him. Still even if they do protect him what impact would working with the Dems have on his own re-election when that comes up next?
Still if I were McCarthy I would be more worried about how I went down in the history books then I would be about keeping the job of Speaker. If I did what was clearly best for the country rather then cave to partisan politics at least I would have the dignity of looking out for the needs of the people over the desires of working with a radical branch of my party that will likely be voted out or potentially locked up for their own crimes. That's the kind of dilemma you get when you covet a title so much as he does the Speakership and I have little sympathy for his problems because he is as much a part of the extreme right that needs to be erradicated as anyone else.
Yeah well he can hold hs breath waiting for my pity he deserves everything he gets because he allowed himself to be put in the position he's in just trying to get the job.

I would absolutely love to see Trump try to take Milley on himself. Even though he's up there in years Milley would wipe the floor with Trump. Hell I'd even be willing to let Trump and Gosar tag team Milley and I'd still put my money on Milley.
Chump won't show at the debates because his handlers are afraid he will make a complete idiot of himself and blow the charade. All the sleepy Joe crap he's putting out is, as usual, a reflection of his own weakness. Recent interviews show chump as a fool who doesn't even know who he's running against or what wars we fought in. The guy is fried.
Speaking of the whole Sleepy Joe BS it's pretty amazing how Sleepy Joe is supposedly such an old doddering fool that he can hardly walk and yet some how he's this amaing criminal mastermind that he's been able to preveny the Republicans from finding a single shred of evidence of all these criminal activities they accuse him of and he was sharp enough to pull off the biggest case of election fraud in US history. Some how these two images of Joe Biden just don't seem to fit together. Imean Trump is supposedly this incredible Stable Genius that knows more about anything then anybody and yet he's been unable to hid his corruption such that nobody can find any evidence against him or pull of a successful theft of an election let alone doing both at the same time.
All true except that stable genius is way too flattering. Unstable moron fits much better. Anyone capable of basic charting can see that Biden has done more for for the economy than any other president in decades. There is a historical trend of republicans fucking up the nation's economy and needing the dems to come in afterwards and repair the damage. Chump and Bush 2 were the worst. Chump is oligarch friendly, a position that takes food off the table for the majority and shrinks the middle class. Contrary to Chump, Biden is out there with the auto workers doing what built the middle class in our country.
