and they want to put off the dc trial for over 2 years...no doubt praying trump will stroke out during that time...pretty sure bone spurs can't get you out of a trial
neither can running for office. The Chump doesn't (and never has) understand anything except how to fool fools...he's had success at that, admittedly. :whistling:

Flynn got off with a Chump pardon. It seems likely there is something they will pin on him that can not be called double jeopardy. Flynn had major culpability. The unnamed co-conspirators are, as you say, probably flip targets that can be played against each other to gain information. They don't want the cat out of the bag on who gets what deal and witness security will be a big problem. Chumps criminal speak will be responsible for directing violence and threats on judges, jury, and witnesses. Maybe this will buy him a more immediate incarceration to shut him up.
One can only hope, the question is will his mob settle down or will they get worse then they already are? I firmly bliv the only reason they;v cut him so much slack this far is because they were concerned about the mob doing even more thn they're already doing. Them doxing the Grand Jury people was a major mistake though. If I were a judge and seeing that plus being threatened directly I would conclude that the mob violence was alreadt too far out of hand and Trump would be in a jail cell already. Maybe they'll have a surprise when he turns himselfin to be arraigned? Certainlt the doxing of Grand Jury members is going to make the person deciding if he gets to go home to wait for trial will cause that person to think long and hard.

The “major” press conference former President Donald Trump promised to hold next week has officially been canceled, he announced on Truth Social Thursday evening. Earlier this week, he promised to present “irrefutable” proof of his innocence from recently filed conspiracy and election meddling charges in Georgia—a terrible idea, according to his legal team. Trump wrote: “My lawyers would prefer putting this, I believe, Irrefutable & Overwhelming evidence of Election Fraud & Irregularities in formal Legal Filings as we fight to dismiss this disgraceful Indictment by a publicity & campaign finance seeking D.A. … Therefore, the News Conference is no longer necessary!”

it's too bad three berries isn't around any longer to tell us how smart this is

How do you introduce EVIDENCE legally?

How Do I Present Evidence If I Am Pro Se?

Even though you do not have a legal education, a pro se plaintiff or defendant is still expected to comply with the same rules of evidence as seasoned lawyers. In federal cases, the federal rules of evidence must be followed. In state cases, state and local court rules must be followed to ensure that the judge receives relevant and reliable information.

Chump is the ultimate narcissist. His entitled attitude will permit him to keep fucking with them until he has gone way too far and everyone will know it. The result will be controversial but necessary.

What I like is how his lawyer has already laid out his complete defense on several news networks these last couple of weeks.

"So you guys are good to go?" - Jack Smith

This request is going to get smacked down so hard it's grandchildren will feel it.

Looks like Chump is going to pass on the republican debate. He thinks he's got it in the bag and he's afraid of Christie calling him Jail Bait.

I have heard of anything so this is just speculation on my part but it seems like a move Trump would make. The place where he is to turn himself in at, in Gerogia has said any day of the week 24/7 just so long as it's before the deadline (8/25/23 I think). Given how the media has present this indictment as being more serious then the others and less likely to cut him much slack, the xpectation is that media coverage of it will be fairly intense, especially if a sizeable contingent of his supporters show up. Being that Trump is fairly media savy I'm sure he knows this. So I'm thinking he will time when he turns himself in to be juust prior to the first Republican debate on 8/23/23 (say around 4-6pm in an attempt to talke up most of the media coverage since he wasn't planning on being at the debate anyway and without him there the debate probably won't be very interesting. It wouldn't surprise me but at the same time it would be kind of amazing if almost nobody tuns into the debate in favor of seeing what will happen with Trump and what he says afterwords if he gives a statement anywhere if he is allowed to go hime (which most likely he will be) Then again given all the death threats and racial slurs the prosecutor has recieved as well as the doxing of the grand jury I could see them making his release a bit slower and more difficult this time.

Chump announced that he would have a social media broadcast after the debate instead of attending. Another reason for this might be the demands from his lawyers. In an open debate he could easily get worked up and say something that lands him directly in jail. In a controlled format he can be controlled and highly edited. It would be easy for Christie to push his buttons and walk him right down that road. In fact it would be a perfect opportunity for other repubs to collaborate and eliminate him with some impromptu rope-a-dope.

Well to be fair, even though it looks weak and cowardly for him to not attend, it's actually a fairly smart move on his part, not because of any risk to saying something that might get him in even more trouble but just because he's so far ahead of all the other candidate that there really is no need, so why even risk getting tripped up in an exchange with anyone else? There's basically two main reason to participate in debates one wold be trying to mob ahead of the other candidate or differentiate himself from them (which as I said, he doesn't really need to). The other would be to try to get his base more motivated nut theyre about as motivated as they're going to get, or to win over nre boters wwwhich there aren't really too many moore voters he'll be able to win over.

If he coud upstage the whole debate though and get the media coverage all on him wth the theory I mentioned, well that would be a pretty boss level move that nobody has ever pulled off before. If I were him though and I was going to give some sort of speech or do a major social media event and if I did actually have some massive list of evidence that totally proves his election fraud claims such that it would completely exhonerate him, then that's what I would present. Of course that's all BS because if he were to manage to get the courts to push the start date back beyond the election then waiting for his lawyers to present that evidence via motions as he suggests, that would make zero sense. He would in essence be waiting until it was too late for that evidence to do him any good because either he would be President (which is a virtual impossibilty) and just pardon himself or he would have lost (the most likely outcome) and providinng that evidence wouldn't suddenly make him president. If I actia;y had proof that exhonerated me I would be presenting that evidence ASAP so I could be exhonerated and get back to the business of campaigning.

I would love to know one thing though, so far he has done everything but listen to his lawyers, so what's different now?
he has claustrophobia. you know, fear of tight spots like court houses and jail cells. i believe he will eventually develop continentphobia, AKA fear of North America, and try to flee before sentencing... if i was over the Justice Department, i'd have his passport taken & armed guards watching his planes, and tell his SS guys that "if he escapes, YOU are going to jail..."

The DOJ has an agreement with the FFA that Donny is only allowed enough fuel to fly domestically.

I'm making that up. But wouldn't be surprised if someone wasn't watching how much fuel he was purchasing at a time.

i'd pay for it myself if he'd do a self-immolation live on Faux "news"...
