Yeah I got that but the thing that Hitler had over Trump was that he was more intelligent or at least more able to do just enough to convince more people he had their best interests at heart. Trump unfortunately is an idiot that has demonstrated time and time again that when it comes to geetting things done all he really cares about is himself and therefore all he really needs to do on issues the people care about, is just enough that he can at least claim that he tried. The unfortunate result for him being that he only fools people that are even dumber then himself or those who benefit from the same things Trump benfits from. The upside being that as long as the other side gets good turn out at the polls, those who favor Trump are just enough to feed Trump's ego but far to few to win a legitimate election. Which is what state level MAGA republican's have been doing their damnest to muss with voter turnout.
I know how it seems and sure it's unnerving but lets not forget that Trump really only one the one time in 2016. That's when people that were so pissed off that Hillary was the choice on the democrat ticket instead of Bernie that many of them though, "Well hey Trump's a billionaire and successful businessman, maybe we should give him a shot. once they realized all that was a fasade and he was actually even worse then Hillary those who gave him a shot before were now saying "fool me once, shame on me..." The only real reason that Trump seems like such a threat is bcause his supporters are way more vocal then the typical democrat or independent voter. Making him seem much more of a threat then he is. The only real concern I have is that if Trump loses to Biden again what will he be able to influnce his people to do? They might have accomplished more on Jan 6th if they were better organized and prepared. If the same conditions happen again, those same forcees have now had much more time to prepare and organize. Hopefully if they try another run at Congress the forcees protecting conress will have the kid gloves off and be ready to go Kent State on the protestors if necessary.
There is one ray of hope for you, Biden might not make it to 2024 and if so then Kamala is not very likely to get elected, other democrat contenders will come out of the woodwork to take their shot. They may even do that even if Biden's still in the picture. To be honet Biden hasn't really been that bad of a president given the shape Trump left the country in. Despite that there are a lot of more progressive democrat voters that would like to see a more progressive and younger candidate in the Oval Office. Of course for that to work or for Biden to have anything but a lame duck second term we would need to hold onto and strengthen our position in the Senate and take back the House, otherwise it will be 4 more years of nothing getting done.
I think he's a couple of decades too late. At the rate things have been going for him I don't see him keeping things going in Ukraine long enough for the future troops to get out of diapers. My only concern is whether or not Putin is such a petulent child that he decides to go out with a nuclear bang?
