No, but the left has lost just as many supporters with their extreme stance on some social issues as trump has lost through his behavior. Look at Biden’s approval numbers.

Honestly, Biden's numbers are a reflection of him not standing in front of cameras and crowing about his achievements more than anything.

I'm with you on the 2 fresh candidates. But it ain't gonna happen. Not yet. 2028 is shaping up to be Newsome's run. He's counting on the youth vote. His latest political stunt about a new amendment tells me it's a certainty. And by stunt, everyhting in the bill is something the majority of Americans want, except the AWB. That is the part that is designed to fail. That's what he's going to run on. It will be a cornerstone of his policies.

Achievements? OK, let's start with $35 insulin. Medicare now being able to negotiate drug costs, the CHIPs Act, the Inflation Reduction Act, the Green New Deal, the lowest unemployment in decades, 6 million new jobs, put an entirely overqualified judge on the Supreme Court (Seriously, have you looked at KJB's credentials in comparison to her colleagues?), finally ended our wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, has given $20,000 in student loan relief (until the courts stepped in), successfully rolled out a vaccine during a pandemic, and he hasn't started an insurrection or grabbed anybody by the pussy.

Everything costs more? Have you looked at the profits being bragged about by corporations? Blaming Biden for price gouging doesn't seem genuine. And I agree the rich are getting richer. And Biden is trying to stop that by hiring 87,000 new IRS workers to replace the 50,000 that are retiring over the next 10 years. Those new agents are not for the likes of me and you. It's for those who actually cheat on their taxes. But thanks to Kevin McCarthy, them cutting 1.8 Billion from the IRS is going to add some 100 billion to the deficit because it's considered lost revenue. It's considered lost revenue because the IRS won't have the resources to go after those who are cheating on their taxes.

And cities covered in feces sounds like a local problem. If you could perhaps point out which cities you are referring to I might be able to provide some insight as to why they are covered in feces and how it is more than likely not Joe's fault.

I haven’t voted in a presidential election since 2008. After seeing Obama cave to the machine immediately after what I thought was a short enough senate career to not be corrupted, it’s no use.

Before we can go left, we need to get democracy back. The right has used gerrymandering, propaganda and every trick in the book to assist the few in controlling the many. All of them have their noses in the trough big time. They have managed to convince the neediest states in the country that the development of any social benefits, including eduction, are bad while they do give aways like military bases, farm subsidies and defense contracts that really just benefit the rich with a little trickle down for those who actually do the over priced work. It's really the right that needs to wake up.

Bernie and AOC have the correct goals in mind but they don't provide a bridge to get there. It has to be done with strategic baby steps.

Trying to turn the course of the Federal Government takes a long time and many hands. Think of it as a huge block of stone. A monolith if you will. We need everybody pushing in the same direction to push this big bitch left.

Now here's what they hope you don't know and/or don't want you to know. Form FD-1023 is a standard form the FBI has used for years to record information that is unverified and highly suspect. They typically don''t even bother to investigate it unless they get some other source that more or less corroborates the same information. Did you notice the reason MTG gave for why it was very credible? She said something to the effect that you know it's very credible because the informant was paid. The only reason they pay out on these report is because they comme from confidential human sources which are notoriously difficult to recruite and keep. So they throw them a small reward just to get them to keep digging up info and reporting it back to them. The payment has absolutely nothing at all to do with the credability of the info.

i think there is going to be a net increase in Dem voting numbers this next election. i believe the GOP has given them more voters from THEIR extreme social positions than they lose from some voters edging to the right. much of what the right now decries as "extreme" has been around for quite some time and is being mischaracterized for political gain.
