His diplomatic ability is abysmal and his historical and geopolitical knowledge is downright terrifying.

I can't tell if he's just trying to be edgy because he's like a celebrity and has to keep up the appeal to his base, or if he's remotely aware that it's looking like he is interested in appeasing Russia.

Especially if they knew he ducked his chance to serve based on bone spurs. Of course WWII vets don't need that, all they need is to be remind how when in France he refered to all the Americans buried in a Paris cemetary "Losers and Suckers." Now like any other conspiracy I don't have any actual proof but they're doing such an impressive job of achieving their goal it's just got to be true. What I find sad and tragic is that the reasons he states for why this is all an injustice and why he's innocent stems from a fundemental misunderstanding of the laws he broke and what was going on in the court room. And not just on his part but also on the part of his lawyer who would rather be pretty then smart (because you can fake smart). Like for example his lawyer Alina Hobgoblin, goes around talking about how shocking he was treated because in the Fraud Civil case he wasn't allowed to introduce evidence or witnesses was because all that happened months ago and why there was no jury was because she forgot to check a box on a court form indicating they wanted a jury. All of which was why they ended up restricting Trump on what to say when Hobgoblin insisted on putting him on the stand. Because the judge had already determined guilt in the round of court appearences months ago and all this was just to determine what the fine was going to be, there was nothing left to prove or disprove. No need for witnesses or testimony.

Some legal experts say that if Trump had recognized and accepted this, not threatened the judge and the clerk so much and just admitted he messed up and got caught, the fines could have been as low as $10 Million or so.
