Ah okay, I was unaware of that conditional part, which is actually quite brilliant on their part to include a condition like that. I'm sure they'll get a response under those conditions. I wonder now if it's possible for them to come up with a map that would be deemed fair and yet still be better for Republicans then whatever remedial map they might use if necessary? I'm glad to see that at least some there in Wisconsin are thinking ahead.

and it should. what folks object to is a state being about (for an example) 54% of one party, but holding over 80% or more of the legislative seats. it's not right regardless of which party does it.
