Hopefully it's huge but it might not be as huge as you think. i foget which State it was but one of the Southern Red states were recently ordered to redo their redistricting maps and they basically just did another one as bad as the one ruled on originally. I lost track of the story after that so i don't know what the final result was but the bottomline is that Republican legislatures have basically ignored things that should force their hands such as court rulings or ballot initiatives in the case of Ohio.

The WI Supreme Court put into their ruling that if the GOP House doens't give them maps that are fair, they will be using maps that were already drawn up that were considered fair. Now WI will still have a slight red lean. What it won't have is a damn near GOP supermajority because of gerrymandering.

“We are hopeful that the legislative process will produce new legislative district maps,” the ruling stated. “However, should that fail to happen, this court is prepared to adopt remedial maps based on the criteria, process, and dates set forth in this opinion and the concurrent order.”
