i don't get it being an ethics violation, she just got kicked out of a place and then told the truth about it happening, was she supposed to keep it secret? didn't the restaurant owner herself make it public? seems a bit of a stretch to call her sharing her personal experience with the wider public, some kind of ethics violation. whats the ethical dilemma? again is she supposed to lie about what happened?

I agree.

She should of kept her mouth shut. The whole incident could of/probably will be, a whole chapter in whatever book she will eventually put out.

Hmmm refusing to serve a person in your public place of business on the basis of political beliefs doesn't stray too far from the bigoted bakery owners who wouldn't make a wedding cake for gays, or racist restaurant owners refusing blacks in the 50's.

Its funny how the "tolerant" left in our country really only "tolerates" you if you share their beliefs. I hang out and work with a broad mix of people with different political ideas, and it has been my overwhelming observation that progressives will look down on, judge, and dismiss conservative people 10x more often than the other way around.

I don't support the republican party and I find it unfortunate how ignorant Trump can be at times, but the best part of this all is that him coming into office pulled the curtain back on the progressives and showed that you all are no different than the hate filled bigots you claim to oppose.

...yeah, as a Trump supporter i find this restaurants owner to be a fool but as a freedom lover i think any business owner should have the right to refuse to do business with anyone for ANY reason, even if that means he doesn't like the arrangement of freckles on your face.

...with that being said i also think that as a consumer i have every right to boycott ANY business for ANY reason, most especially public ignorance, you can bet your ass that the Red Hen is on my list.

...when did we lose the ability to agree to disagree?

...Trump is the President, period, and the left needs to understand that trashing Trump and his voters is the same as trashing the country because if Trump fails we are ALL fucked, even the left.

...and none of this kind of ignorance happened during the Obozo years, we loathed him but violence and public ignorance isn't the way of the right, we mostly quietly seethe until the next election and then we VOTE!

...one of the reasons we don't go looking for violence is because many of us are armed.

I'd kick her sorry ass out if it was my place. I got no space or time for some one constantly lying to all of us. Every time she speaks to the the American public the Lie-O-Meter is pegged and they prove it in the wrap up. Zero credibility. Maybe it will be a wake up call and good for them.

Telling the story about getting the boot might be the first time she told the truth.

Could you imagine if Trump said if you like your doctor you can keep your doctor, then everybody looses their doctor what the fallout would look like?

that was her GOVERNMENT (btw, I put that in CAPS the very 1st time I mentioned this) twitter account (aka Sarah Sanders @ PressSec) and that account is NOT intended for personal use, she literally bitched out the owner of the restaurant on an account to be used exclusively for GOVT business.

btw, Sarah has a personal twitter account that she should have used instead.

Was that GOVT business that she was discussing??? Flock no!!! She was intending to pull off the same 'whoa is me routine' that the orange man is so famous for crying.

That was a personal choice of the restaurant owner to kick her fat ass out, Sarah needed to handle it on a personal level. It does NOT matter that it was due to her job that she was booted. and btw, I'm almost 100% sure that had Sean Spicer walked into the Red Hen for a supper w/his family that they'd be served. Because Spicer had the fucking marbles (brains & balls) to quit that job, instead of telling lies for that fuckwad of a potus.

Ex-White House ethics chief (Walter Shaub): Sarah Sanders tweet violates ethics laws.... and here's Walters tweet to Sarah:

Sarah, I know you don’t care even a tiny little bit about the ethics rules, but using your official account for this is a clear violation of 5 CFR 2635.702(a). It’s the same as if an ATF agent pulled out his badge when a restaurant tried to throw him/her out.

my favorite part is in RED

But hey, whatever you do, don't take it from a friggin' hater like myself, if ya don't want an answer like mine, google it yourself (sanders ethics violation twitter red hen) gaius, there are dozens of articles out there right now.

Never telling when you'll suddenly be held accountable (even as in this case in the smallest way) for all the fucking lies you spew every day.......

I think that all politicians should be jailed for telling lies.........

Then our jails would be full of politicians......and that's where most all of them belong.

Oh bullshit. More of the specialty of the house, "much ado about nothing". She was asked to leave as a result of her official capacity and mentioned it on her official account. She did not "literally bitch out the owner of the restaurant", she said this -

"Last night I was told by the owner of Red Hen in Lexington, VA to leave because I work for @POTUS and I politely left. Her actions say far more about her than about me. I always do my best to treat people, including those I disagree with, respectfully and will continue to do so".

My, but you folks are sensitive.

I mean......really, what sort of example does it set when the so-called leaders of the so-called free-world are constantly caught telling outright lies to us, and constantly?. Such blatant and obvious lies that not even their state controlled news media can keep them from being widely known.

Then generations grow up thinking that it is cool and profitable to tell lies all of the time.

Whatever happened to trust and honesty?

She was asked to leave the restaurant because of her job. HER GOVERNMENT JOB. She used the proper twitter account. The republican voters needed to know what was done to a political official who was appointed to their job by the POTUS who they voted for.

Stop being fucking stupid and just trying to escalate things. It isn't going to help your cause. Trump is president and he isn't going away.

A government official was asked to leave because of their government job but can't tweet it on an official government account. LMFAO at the complete lack of logic being displayed. Nothing is going to happen to her. Because she didn't do anyhing wrong.

This thread exemplifies how left continues to do the things they accuse the right of. Threats of violence, misogynistic comments, intolerance, hate, bigotry and racism and much more.

This is going to precipitate a reaction from people on the right that is going to escalate into something very bad. What comes around goes around always applies. Be careful what you ask for.
