I don't speak Spanish, which given the nature of your news clipping collection, one would need to verify that.
I respect what you contribute elsewhere, but here, no, this is just crap.
If the content is more important to you than the credibility or integrity of the source of this content, I don't know what else to say, other than that it sounds like you value hearing things you agree with more than whether they may be true or not. And for some reason you find that position defendable.
Amlo is a socialist promising, perhaps honestly, upheaval to the corruption that rules Mexico. That the ruling party is putting so much effort into discrediting him is no surprise. That is an old trick familiar to all politics. His often stated goal is to create a Mexico people do not want to flee, where they are safe to work and live.
So you see why rumours on alt right news sites, gun forums and Reddit would stand out as ludicrous to anyone with even a passing familiarity to the man.
That is quite the conspiracy theory.
You don't speak the language, so your presumption is that a Spanish language site misquoted AMLO when they quoted him in the article with the ATTACHED video, and no one picked up on it? The written portion can easily be plugged into Google translate even by you northern folks. In case you haven't noticed, this story has taken off today. It's a bit of a reach to think that with the rate of bilingualism in California and the southwestern US that it escaped all of those people's notice as well as the eluniversal audience.
Yes, content is far more important to me than any other aspect of a site when it comes in the form of video of a speech shown in it's entirety. If the vid hasn't been tampered with, I don't care if it is presented by Rachel Maddow or Alex Jones - what matters is the content of the video.
