Don't do partners unless you do absolutely everything together. Realistically don't do partners.
If you need extra help pay someone a wage, you get the entire crop and they get guaranteed compensation.
Don't do loans or finance anyone elses grow either. Nobody will take it as seriously as the person who put up their own hard earned coin.
If they couldn't make something happen and do it alone what leads us to believe they could do it with someone else?

I cant really call out any names but the guy that got me started is on here. As far as I know no hard feelings have ever been spilt. You probably get that 1 outa 12 times. I just bought a spot with a nice grow area and he was in between gettin his house robbed and dealing with a different shitty partner. He gave me the strains the lights and helped me build the room. The agreement was we split 2 harvests 5050. After the first harvest he said we were straight the equipment was mine I will never forget that. We now split the burden of holding moms, and always know we have someone to call when it comes time for an emergency overnight teardown. If I called him tomorrow and said power went out in my op and all my plants froze he would be here within hours with a whole tray of cuts and I would do the same. Dont not work with people just dont work with people you cant find if something fucks up. Also trust goes along ways and takes time to be built.

I found out after my bust that some people who i previously called friends and knew i had a grow on were conspiring to rip me. They are very much out of my life now.
I`v only had a partner for one grow and that was the first and last time, we are still good friends and he understood why things had to change.

So sorry to hear about you and your partner...I've followed your postings and enjoyed reading your idea's and thoughts. I guess I'm a rare grower, my partner and I have been growing together for 3 years, my g/f likes/trust him, and he is a solid guy. Now we split ALL COST's 50/50 done so from the start and neither of us owe each other atm more than $50.00, we don't let it get out of control. We split the last crop and everything went well.

DMT and I have known each other for just under 14ish years and have never back stabbed one another. We're both under 30, so I guess we began a friendship before money or ego even mattered. You have to lay a solid friendship and mutual respect for one another and then decide whether or not to go in to business with one another.
We don't share grows, but we always go to one another spots, share cuts, share genetics, order genetics together, share grow gear etc.

personally im not against partnerships. the synergy that can occur in them can make life fun! make growing fun.
but i just have to be willing to tell the guy if stuff is not working and be ready to walk if the guy is putting you in danger or is messing up the biz.
