stolen equipment before the show began...so glad it wasnt plants, besides their value, i love my girls !! so ive still got a grand worth of equipment over there, but that place is so cursed i may just let it go with the rest ...

I think the lesson here is not necessarily "Don't have a partner" but perhaps "make sure your partner has just as much to gain/lose as you do."
If so, you'd only be out 1500 instead of 3000 and your partner would be just as pissed about it as you are.

The only words of encouragement I can offer you are that some lessons cost you more than money and at least the hard lessons are ones you won't soon forget. Nobody is perfect but as long as you get better instead of worse then you must be on the right track. Good luck!

You know it was him? Kinda strange to me, because I think most rippers would wait at least until a harvest was around the corner. Sad though, in any case.

I had a sorta similar type thing, fuck I hate learning expensive lessons.
My first partner (friend of >10 yrs) fucked up and harvested my 5kw op 3 weeks and 5 weeks early (delayed start for 2k) because a helicopter freaked him out one night.
then he kept the 3 week early nugs that looked halfway decent and got rid of them without me knowing, leaving me some bullshit stems on the rest and about 10k down the drain.
a few years later he wants to set up a lil something for himself, asks if he can borrow a couple 1000w. Everything is fine n dandy, then come harvest time he gets "raided" but didn't spend a single night in jail, and now I have fuckall info on where he or my gear is.
so no matter how much I WANT to partner up with somebody, I keep thinking about a friendship that lasted over a decade but then crapped out within months of being 'partners'.
Never again...

That sucks my friend...Theres alot of shitty people out there in the game. Alot of people forget who actually helped them out in the beginning. I was blessed with a great friend, I had the spot and he had the xtra equipment. The split was fair and done honestly. Thanks my friend, my fellow IC Mager. Together and a close group of friends, we have a genetic library the size of a complete edition of the encyclopedia britanicas. Choose your friends wisely, but always listen to your instincts. Mine right on!
