on more nights than not after closing the bar @ 4am (legal limit in NY) we'd sit around having a few after work drinks which was quite illegal @ that hour. one night there were 3 of us hanging out when suddenly the door burst open (honestly, the 1st time we ever forgot to lock it) and a cop stepped in and exclaimed "aha! I gotcha!!!" The only drink on the bar was mine, a plain Coca-Cola with nothing in it, he was fucking furious and stormed on out, no doubt he could hear our laughter as he climbed into his squad car.
Normally there'd be several cocktails sitting there and of course a suspended liquor license would follow, probably a 2 week loss of license is all but that would be a huge setback for the owner, and although the owner approved of our after hours drinking the blame would be on us for leaving the door unlocked. damn did we ever get lucky that night.......
I got mad and yelled at my dog earlier, as I came into my room he's laying right where he lays next to my bed on my side. Totally acts like he don't see or hear me. I can't stay mad at him. He's mans best friend and I love that little shit even though he and my son always get each other into trouble.
