over the years and the many miles driven, i'd grown to despise having to sip coffee through a tiny hole in a plastic lid.......

Never try to do plumbing work with no knowledge.
Always call a plumber.....Always call a plumber.

now i need a plumber. asshole that built this house cemented the bolts you mount the toilet to into the floor, and they have rusted in half. if he was not already dead, i'd check him out of the nursing home & choke his ass out myself...:moon:

let me rephrase that, my resentment really starts & ends with the plastic lid, there will always be a shitty little hole.

That's so much better, no lid, no miles, no morals.......

Just heard a dispensary employee tell a customer that growing seeds in hydro is what gives you the purples & other colours, but dirt just produces green weed.

I wanted to correct him, as the person asking looked a tad simple/old/poor, but I just couldn't muster enough give a fuck. I was pissed and embarrassed that someone who should know better was spouting such crap, but I left my cape at home & decided against being Captain Potseed. The guy was supposedly their "expert", as other worker there fetched him specifically for question about the seeds being sold.

Never get caught in a predicament where you don’t know where your main shut off is, either.

That kind of adrenaline rush is unforgettable.

Had a water spigot twist right off from inside the wall alone at the shop one day. Must have been spewing 20gpm for the hour and a half that I waited for the city to come turn off the main.

Felt like a friggin eternity. Not cool. Know where your water and electrical shut-offs are anywhere you might be held liable for property damage. For serious.

Ya, it took me a few minutes to remember where the main shutoff was. I was so panicked, that I didn't close the shower curtain all the way, and had some water leak from the ceiling through one of the lights! I didn't dare turn it on for a few days. It's weird that there's a separate shut off valve for the sink and toilet, but not the shower. I don't think a shower is required to have one by regulation.

That shit is so much more stressful than it sounds. Psychological torture not being able to find the main in that kind of predicament.

Heartfelt sympathies.

Since I did it for other people most of my life, I build my own house from the foundation up by myself with the help of a few teen-agers, when I was 53...

It's been 12 years now, and i haven't had any problems,,
But just in case, I know exactly where every shut off valve is and what every elec. breaker is for...

Lost 10 lbs avoiding fast food for a month and celebrated with some chicken nuggets last night.

I wish I could pass this off as a shart, but that’s simply not the case.

I haven’t dumped a shit in my pants like this since before I can remember.

No more mcd’s. Ever.

I'm in my late 50's. I wish that autism & autism spectrum had been understood better when I was a kid. I was always that "weird" kid, terrible with names & faces, awkward socially, withdrawn, hates loud noises, can't concentrate, etc.

I survived, barely, but that awkward kid is now an awkward adult, I still forget names & faces, etc. Employed, parent, husband. I could have been a better person if I'd gotten Wellbutrin decades ago.

If only.

Mate, my Missus used to teach 'special' kids. We both have lots of time for 'Auties'. We love it how up-front you people are. How you can see thru things without getting emotionally hung up.
We spent a bit of time staying with an ICmag member who has an Autistic son. He was so perceptive!!!
And of course NASA hires Auties to do complicated maths.
More power to you! And in relation to newdrugs ... don't waste your time with Regret. You cannot lose what you never had!!!
Cheers ...
