mid 70's and my girlfriend from the Bronx had a grandmother that lived in Kerhonkson NY, her place was the last home on the right side of a dirt road, the driveway across the road was the entrance to Peg Leg Bates resort, look it up, a little slice of history you might not have heard of. I travelled up there many times over a two year span but never met Peg Leg Bates himself, I'm sure his resort & guests kept him busy.......
