If you would be happy to see the price go up you are retarded, we are lucky enough to be able to sell a dried plant for what its currently worth. I am pretty content with it, if you have a capitalist mentality like that you should go work in a cubicle and stop growing pot.

If your not happy with how much you are being compensated for your product than its probably bunk, if your growing real medical quality stuff it should be able to command top dollar even in our saturated market.

I don't need to step anything up, lose the ego. My good friend runs medicalmarihuana.ca, I know whats involved and could call him up and buy a 25 plant licence off him right now if I wanted to. I even hooked a member of this site up with a friend of mine to be his designated grower, because I want nothing to do with the government MMAR program right now.

I also doubt many mom and pop growers will quit if this gets passed, the majority of them really rely on the money.

There already is a "unofficial" size restriction for the seeds you're suppse to buy from HC. Its says right on their site what the plant is and what the average height of the plant is but they don't eforce it yet. If it comes down to it people will just do LST with their plants.

Well there are doctors out there that will sign all the paper work you need to get your medical license for $1000 per plant and not just a designated growers license for $200 per plant.

Then you don't know what you're talking about. 4 or so years ago when Surrey introduced the hydro inspections 1/2 of of the mom and pops disappeared from the Surrey area. Just ask any store from Surrey to Chilliwack how it affected the market for them.

Now introduce mandatory sentences and you'll see an even bigger drop in the mom and pops and a surge of huge organized grows when the price of weed sky rocket.

Yeah, I agree. A lot of them rely on the money to help pay mortgages, but what happens when they do 9 months an lose the house?

I have not seen a medical marijuana grow in canada that was not criminal, even if you are selling excess to compassion clubs you are technically criminal. The whole thing is criminal as far as I am concerned.

Assisting in the purchase of scheduled drugs is VERY illegal. Taking a fee is irrelevant other than providing evidence that you are aiding the commission of a criminal code offence for cash.

It has nothing to do with purchasing drugs, they are setting up growers with people who are exempt under the MMAR and need someone to grow for them. The meds are given to the patient free of charge. They simply charge a fee for linking the two together.

anyways who cares? if u got the cash to pay the fee to hookup to grow for a client and you wanna do it go for it. the whole MMAR system is a joke anyways so im not against anyone exploiting it. its funny there are medical users / growers out there that want the MMAR to be their own monopoly for growing. i say if you can work the system do it. the system has screwed us all for years so i have no hard feelings against anyone that does. plus basically 99% of people have a legitimate use for marijuana. minor pains etc... im dry now and hating myself, took pharmaceuticals for the first time in awhile and i feel like shit
