The short reason why China no longer buys our “recyclables” is we’re pigs.
They buy recyclable material: theoretically recyclable material covered in rotted food, or full of rancid milk or toxic chemicals aren’t recyclable until they’ve been cleaned, and ‘we’ won’t do that. To us, ‘recyclable’ means garbage we can sell.

In Europe they don't have this. Reusable glass bottles are used to deliver soda, beer etc in reusable carrying crates. Like we used to do. Everything is recyclable and towns have municipal compost. It's only here in the US that we have this create waste attitude.

Unfortunately a lot of countries have partially adopted the plastic bag culture.
I was reading about Malaysia, and recycled plastic being dumped there.
I've been saving plastic bags and plastic Ensure bottles. Fortunately my jaw & teeth are improving so I can eat more solid food.
But I could make one construction panel, 24 x 48 inches. Just fill it with ... Plastic - for insulation.
Laminated between 2 layers of metal ?

5 years ago Ecuador was pretty much you're stereotypical 3rd world garbage shithole. Now it's clean, and people will scold you for throwing your garbage on the ground "you go to jail" as they bend over to pick it up for you. Huge difference in attitudes.

Nope I don't know what modeling has to do with genocide. You are educated enough to know, not that they teach this in school. The group known as the Young Turks liquidated hundreds of thousands of people. Some say as many as 1.5 million. Yes, I know Hitler used the genocide as a ground work for his final solution. The Turkish government is still trying to keep this under wraps. The left will no doubt, try like hell to minimize, and deny that it happened, since they were Muslim. The 2nd largest protected class in the world of identity politics.

And yes, the Turkish government angrily demands nobody call it genocide, that no one connect the Turks to it, and just stop talking about it, every time the subject comes up.
Perhaps you don’t know that the Turks are Muslim, as are (were?) the Armenians (IIRC), so not at all sure which one is “the 2nd largest protected class in the world of identity politics” by your lights

Yes, I do mean Justification. In my mind, justification is the foundation. Muslims are 2nd in numbers behind women. Except, you may not be able to include all women since the second muslims, subjugated their women. They certainly are not protected in their own societies.
You may also be aware that the vast majority of victims of Islamist terrorism are Muslim. Though Christian's are definitely not far behind.
