An astute observation.
Has been, currently is, and certainly shall be in the foreseeable future, would have been more accurate.

My spouse worked in public health, I recently ran across the following you tube content
that has reminded me of her time spent with education.

IG Farben, and the role it has played in our society has never ceased to amaze me.
The root of cartel-based society which has shaped the world we do struggle with currently.

I agree with this, yet I will say that I have a dear friend who is a died in the wool libertarian, who
is a wonderful person that has repeatedly contributed much of worth to our society, and he continues to do
so to this day. The concept of painting with a broad brush has never worked well for me.

If you look into what libertarianism is, there is absolutely a social contract to help others less fortunate than yourself that has been wholly left by the wayside by these mainstream Libertarians who only want to do whatever the hell they want no matter who or what gets hurt or destroyed in the process. All hail the mighty dollar!

William Belsham would be disgusted by what passes for libertarianism today.

another idea ground into shit by someone hijacking/prostituting the meaning/movement. it's as far from its origins as modern "communism" is from the ideals which Marx and others held. there are no systems that humans cannot pervert, it just isn't possible! we still have to try, of course.

BEING TAKEN DOWN FROM THE INSIDE

MEANWHILE HOW MUCH WAS SPENT, ER PRINTED UP FOR MILITARY?
Oh, meanwhile: Among the CEOs at the top 10 operators, the chief executive with the largest compensation package in 2018 was CenturyLink's Jeffrey Storey. Including his salary, bonus, stock awards and other items, Storey's total compensation had a total value of $35.7 million in 2018, coming in just above the $35.0 million that Comcast CEO Brian Roberts received. Because Storey was not serving as CEO for the full year, certain compensation items were annualized in the calculation of his total pay package.

Tudo I don't know if you are aware, but we just had an incredible hurricane in So-Cal. When the peak of the storm hit ,it hit here in my part of the desert. During the peak of the storm 911 went down in Palm Springs the epicenter. No one could call for help.

Sen. Kennedy had to scuttle away to another hearing.

It was a tropical storm by the time it made landfall. It was hardly "incredible". I am glad you survived.
