The US has been slipping Internationally re. 'quality of life indicators' for 3 decades plus now... No matter how much hollow Nationalist Pride and undeserved, illogical Nationalist Ego desires to create a smoke-screen re. the reality of it. I think about 25 years ago we were #27 or something in that respect.

Our County Commissioners wanted to have a County Meeting to talk about Wildfire, Prevention & Management.

I emailed an outline for a short discussion, listing 6 different things that I do on my land to keep Small fires Small.

1/ I asked if I could present photographs.

The response ... remember this is 2022 ... "we're not set up for that". They have 2 big computer projectors running during county meetings.

2/ I emailed the official County email, before the meeting. Was never forwarded to the commissioners.

So at the Official Wildfire Meeting, it was all employees of fire agencies. No public discussion. The news article about the meeting said they were "disappointed with the turn-out".

They make if VERY DIFFICULT for citizens who are very interested in fire to contribute.

It's easier for me to help Greece with their wildfires, than my own county in the US.

I have a feeling this says something about the deterioration of the US.

The US once had a Can-Do attitude at the Public Level. Not so much anymore.

It is an absolute certainty the power company chose to pay it's upper crust management rather than to bury
the power lines which would have prevented the fires to start with.
No maybe about it, selfish jackasses made improper decisions that cost a lot of lives.
There is no need for any speculation.
That they got away with doing that, with no effective penalty, assures it will happen again.

This was an important event. Trump and his global allies overthrew the evil Saudi regime and part of that deal included arms movements into Saudi Arabia. The "killing" of "Khashoggi" was the Deep State's countermove against Trump and the new Saudi regime. In all likelihood Jamal Khashoggi was a fictional character.

And, I do not recall an increase in the war in Yemen under Trump...

Ah, yes, I am starting to remember.. Trump changed the rules of engagement, because the rules of engagement were set up for never ending wars. Obama had it set up where you could not take out strategic targets and were very limited on what you could do to engage the enemy and made it highly impractical on purpose..

This is exemplified in the killing of Solemeini in Iraq. Remember how upset the Deep State was with Trump. They acted like they lost their own respected leader...

It's funny how we don't hear much about the war in Yemen, in general.
