How many hours is the surgery? I didn't specify what kind of surgery btw. But, yeah if it is a single payer system. You should be pleased to be working for the tax payer and saving us money while you save lives. You'd be a better person for it.:good:

Doesn't have to be as low as $100. But, no surgery should cost $100,000. I think $100 is far more sane than $100,000. But anyway, I'm not attached to these numbers. The point is that the parts, labor, and admin pricing needs major gutting

My spouse was an MD/ MPH. She had spent time in the army, serving in repeated combat tours for the majority of time she was in.
She got out and went to work for LA County, job title physician specialist, was a grant funded position, that she wrote the grants for.
Standard procedure in such places is that the head of the dept takes quite a chunk of that grant funding for his own uses. None the
less a results are expected, and had damned well better be produced if you wish the grants to continue.
My wife based her life in service, she worked on projects that she knew could and did make a difference.
She was born ten years younger than I, and got hit will absurd expenses for education, which she always
paid. She never made more than 85 grand a year, and she donated more to the French outfit, Drs with out
borders than most would ever believe.
She was not unique by any means. Many of those who go into the profession have nothing but the most decent of
motivations.
This is a subject which is close to my heart for several reasons. My grandfather was an MD, my mother a pathologist.
My grandfather worked for Uncle Sam all his life, he did not make a great deal of money.
I curse Rockefeller, for what he did to medicine. Each and every complaint you have goes directly back
to what he has done to the profession. Cuba has demonstrated what can be without Rockefeller medicine, as have
many other countries which are now ahead of us in many respects.
What we have now is not sustainable, and it is sure as hell no merry go round for those who carry insane educational
loans. That has resulted in a lot of negative results for many.
There are a lot of things which could be changed that would improve things vastly, that would save us a great deal in
the long run, single payer being at the top of the list for me.

Uvalde Hires Private Law Firm to Argue It Doesn’t Have to Release School Shooting Public Records

Some of the records relating to the Robb Elementary School shooting could be “highly embarrassing,” involve “emotional/mental distress,” and are “not of legitimate concern to the public,” the lawyers argued.

how much you wanna bet the cops shot and possibly killed some of the kids/teachers?

Why would you think that ?

Covering up NEGLIGENCE is a Growing Industry in the US.

this Oregon YMCA is engaged in a FASCINATING campaign against members with knowledge of unsafe facility conditions, related to a drowning in 2017.

But that's Negligence.

The Lifeguards waited -7- minutes to make it to the side of the young man laying on the bottom of the pool.

Like, joined at the hip with Uvalde or something.

the city is protecting the cops
the cops wont release their bodycam footage because it's "embarrasing"
the cops preemptively came out and said something along the lines of "all the dead were shot by the shooter" when no one even remotely asked
they got atleast one child shot by making them call out for help in front of the gunman
the entire lack of response from the cops in general
private hearings away from the public

overall they're just failing to cooperate.

if they didn't accidentally shoot a victim then it's simple, just release the body cam footage lol. it'll eventually come out through FOIA but this is just ridiculous.

There was some audio in the background of a video of a dispatcher saying, "they shot a kid." Many people believe she was referring to the police.

No matter who's doing the rankings, the US is never in the Top 10.

Every country ranked higher than the US on this list has universal health care.

The US has been slipping Internationally re. 'quality of life indicators' for 3 decades plus now... No matter how much hollow Nationalist Pride and undeserved, illogical Nationalist Ego desires to create a smoke-screen re. the reality of it. I think about 25 years ago we were #27 or something in that respect.
