The obviously biased media is pushing the concept of a Hillary-Trump re-match for 2024.

That would be amazing, but not in a good way.

When was the last time anyone has seen a large number of fireflies?

this past summer. saw my first synchronous FFs at Rocky Fork State Park, and some bright blue ones i'd never seen before (same place). there's a couple of HUGE pastures in Hawkins County that reliably hold shitloads...they were so numerous two years ago that you could read a book sitting by the creek at 3 am. never seen anything remotely like it...

I'm glad to hear that. I used to be a state park ranger in NE Florida, and I experienced one of those masses. I had the night shift and I parked the truck at the maintenance shed. I walked back to my apartment and took a shortcut through a picnic area that was shrouded by a roof of live oak branches. It was filled with fireflies and the area was lit up enough to see my shadow. That was in 1975.

I see them in small numbers occasionally in the summer.

How the speed of climate change is unbalancing the insect world

The pace of global heating is forcing insect populations to move and adapt – and some aggressive species are thriving

Nevermind how global commerce spreads insects. We just had all the ash trees wiped out four years ago from the Asian Emerald Ash Borer. You could see the trees die along the highways first. So they were hitchhiking.

She could be like a serial killer. She’s got some vendettas to fill.

Around me in corn country there has been many acers that have been put aside for environmental programs. Trees for 25 years and wild flowers for 5 years. Agriculture is probably one of the most changed operations I've seen over the last 50 years. What use to take weeks to do now can be done in a week. Much less fuel and fertilizer are used as well as better tilling practices. Production has doubled in good years and meets the old averages in bad years due to the genetics.

Hillary & Bill should make a Home Video of their Romantic Life Together, & post it on Youporn or Tiktok.

I think they'd get a lot of views.

They can donate the ad revenues to Bill's Presidential museum.

I wonder if Hillary is still planning her own Presidential museum.

Obama's museum in Chitcago is back in the planning. I'm hoping they turn it into a mausoleum.

That sadly is what would be more than appropriate for each president we have had since the second world war.
With only 2 notable exceptions, one of whom was killed, the other, of whom was black mailed- which had a great deal to
do with why cannabis was not decriminalised in the seventies.

Kennedy's popularity was at its lowest point of his presidency when he was killed. i've always wondered how history might have been different if that had not happened. given LBJs age, he probably would not have run for the office after JFK. that could have changed the arc of history RE the war in SE Asia and god knows what else...
