Western Monarch Population Closer to Extinction; Still no Federal or State Protection in Sight

Population that winters along the California coast hit a low of less than 2,000 butterflies—a 99.9% decline since the 1980s. We must take action now to save the western monarch migration.

Sidney Blumenthal

As vice-president, he abased himself and his office. In reward, Donald Trump sent a mob to kill him. Now, as another impeachment trial looms, he is cast out from Republican ranks

Shitty propaganda from inbred Monarch doles and their inbred banker NGOs is how the faux illusion can be painted that USA went from First to Third world. The Guardian? really? that is the Royal Institute for International Affairs toilette paper mill.

sidney blumenthal got outted hardcore by the wikileaks drops. he is totally in league with the rothschild lynn forrester folks.

USA is still the best. That is why Britain is constantly meddling in USA's domestic affairs. Christopher Steele ... British. Halcyon... British. Epstein and Maxwell ... British. The Balfour declaration.... British

I wonder what the common denominator is?

i have read many theories RE the 19018 flu's origins. several posit that it was in an encampment of British soldiers in 1916, & that our returning doughboys brought it home with them. i don't know that, after the passage of a hundred years, it could be proven one way or the other. our first known outbreak here in the states was a army camp in Kansas (Ft. Riley) from my reading. area was so sparsely populated that the military facility is the most likely initial transmission site. they had over 500 infected in less than a week on the base...ouch.

Pulled off of a Quora site :

If I get pulled over by the police, how do I tell them I am carrying a gun?

I used to be a cop. I did it for about 4 years. I quit because I realized that we were all criminals - every last one of us. The ones who weren't corrupt, brutal bigots all knew the ones that were, but we did nothing about it because we didn't want to die in a “training accident” or because backup decided to take their sweet ass time getting to the scene! Those of us who knew and did nothing were accessories, and therefore also criminals. And corrections officers are a hundred times worse!
But, with all of that being said, I'll answer your question…
Cops live on edge because our lives are literally always on the line. The best way to get a positive result from a cop is to make the cop feel safe and comfortable..
If you get pulled over, pull over as far as you reasonably can, so that the cop isn't almost getting hit by every car that flies by! You have no idea how stressful that is.
Roll your window all the way down. Roll the back window at least halfway down. All the way down is even better. If it isn't too hot or cold, just put all the windows down. It'll be worth it to show that you have nothing to hide.
Turn the radio off! Some people will tell you to put on sports radio, talk radio, easy listening, classical, smooth jazz, etc. No! Turn it off!!
Turn on your hazard lights, turn the car off and put the keys on the dash (or the fob nowadays, with the engine off).
Turn on the interior light if it’s dark outside.
Have your license, registration and proof of insurance ready when he gets to your window. But don't rush to collect them and look suspicious. He/ she has to call in where his/her position and run your plate, so you have a minute and he/she is expecting to see you moving around, a little bit (not a lot). So just slowly, but gingerly, get all your stuff together.
Tuck your documents up in your visor. The visor is non-threatening. Your glove box is threatening! Your console is threatening! Your pockets are threatening! Your visor is not threatening. Use the visor.
Have your hands on the steering wheel. Both of them. On the top of the wheel, so he/she can see them.
Start with a pleasantry, like “Good morning/afternoon/evening officer/deputy/trooper" (it's not imperative that you get the title right, but it does help - and if the cop is in pain clothes, he/she could either be off duty or could be a detective - just go with detective), or “How are you today?”.
Never start with “What's the problem?” or “What did I do wrong?”. He could just be about to tell you that you have a tail light out, or a tire that's low. Chill the hell out! Being immediately on the defensive will put the officer on alert.
Be friendly, but not fake. Cops don't respect fake. It also makes the wannabe detective inside them want to know what you're hiding. Don't come off like you're hiding anything. Be confident, but not arrogant.
After the officer asks for your documents, give them to him. THEN say “Officer, I'm required by law to inform you that I am armed. I have a pistol in the console/glove box/door/under the seat/wherever” Followed by, "How would you like to proceed?”
DO NOT REACH FOR IT! You will get shot!
Offer to get it for him very slowly. Or, offer to get out of the car slowly and let him/her collect the firearm. More than likely they will tell you how they wish to proceed, so just comply with whatever they tell you.
NEVER consent to a search of your vehicle. Not ever. Just don't. Make him get a warrant or bring in a K9. Especially if you don't have anything to find. Be nice about it, but tell him no. Say something like “My brother is an attorney and told me never to consent to a search for any reason - but there's nothing in here that I'm not supposed to have anyway.”
Do not present your concealed carry permit or gun ownership permit (if your state requires one) with the rest of your documents. That's a good way to get drawn down on. Offer your CCP or other permit only after the subject of the weapon has been brought up.
To be clear, you ARE required to inform the officer, in most states, that you are armed, but that doesn't mean it has to be the first thing you say. If you inform the officer of the firearm just after handing over your other documents, that will suffice as prompt notification. It'll also buy you a little trust. This is especially true if you live in one of the few states that don't require you to inform the officer.
If you put the cop at ease, and make him/her feel safe, you're a hundred times more likely to get off with a warning, a reduced fine, a non-moving violation, etc. At the very least, you're a lot less likely to get shot, pistol-whipped, tased, beaten, arrested, etc.
Don't escalate anything! You do not need to escalate things. That's the most surefire way to get yourself jammed up.
No matter what others will say in the comments section, cops are no longer trained to de-escalate! Even if they are trained in de-escalation procedures at the academy, this training is over-ridden immediately by their training officer as soon as they start their on-the-job training.
Also, in A LOT of places, a cop can be on the job for 2–5 years before they ever even go to the academy. Those cops have received their on-the-job training first. So, any de-escalation they are taught at the academy goes right in one ear and out the other. They're trained to escalate situations!
Think about it. How to cops advance in their careers? Writing tickets (as many as they can), making arrests, closing cases, turning simple, ordinary traffic stops into arrests on multiple felony counts. Escalating things is how they get ahead!
Start on an even keel and stay on an even keel no matter how big an a-hole the cop is being. Just smile, nod, be friendly and comply as much as you can.
If you are asked to do something or provide something that you know is unlawful, or accused of something you know you didn't do or couldn't have done, then calmly ask for a supervisor. Remain pleasant and respectful until the supervisor arrives. Do not argue!
Just as an example, when I was a teenager, I was pulled over and accused of doing 124mph in a 35mph zone. Not only hadn't I been going that fast - I physically couldn't have been going that fast! I was driving a 1985 Oldsmobile Firenza. It had a 4-cylinder engine. I had a cracked head gasket at the time and was just trying to get it home. I had no compression at all in one cylinder and had started losing it in a second cylinder. The road was less than 2 miles long and came off a 4-way stop. It simply wasn't physically possible! Even with my foot to the floor the whole way, 54mph would have been extremely difficult! But I had sense enough not to argue. When I took the car to the mechanic to get the head fixed, the mechanic gave me a copy of the diagnostic report on the compression in the cylinders. And he wrote me a letter stating, emphatically, that 124mph on that street, in that vehicle, was physically impossible. My cousin, who was a lawyer, asked the officer how long it had been since the radar gun had been calibrated. It had been over 5 months! The ticket was thrown out and the cop got reamed by the judge for straight up lying under oath! But I had read the situation right, because there was no way I was successfully talking that cop down. In fact, he was clearly on edge and would have gladly arrested and/or shot me if I had put up a fight. It just wouldn't have paid off to be anything but nice, take the ticket and fight it later. In that particular case, I think the cop knew my uncle and was possibly assuming that I was his son (my uncle was hated by the cops in that town).
Stay calm and choose your words very carefully. Saying “ummmmm" or “like" or “you know" makes it sound like you're stalling for time to make up a lie, or have something to hide. There is nothing wrong with repeating the question before answering it, or just taking a moment to think before answering the question. Remember, anything your say can and will be used against you in a court of law.
Never submit to a breathalyzer if you've been driving after drinking. Even if it's only a couple of pints and you weigh 300 pounds. Offer to take a blood test. It can take up to 2–3 hours to get that done. You can sober up by then.
If they only offer you the breathalyzer, refuse it. On a first offense, it's a 6 month suspension if you blow drunk or if you just refuse. Same result. Just say “No thanks". At least then you only have “reasonable suspicion of DUI” on your record. That's much easier to explain or live with than a DUI charge. Plus, you can always say that you offered to take the blood test. That can actually go pretty far at your hearing. At the very least, it could help you to get approved for a hardship license that you wouldn't have otherwise gotten. At least then you can drive to work/school/both.
If the cop is being aggressive, twisting your words, escalating, etc., just calmly inform him that you have decided to exercise your right to remain silent and would like to speak to an attorney.
Never take a cop's word on what the law is. Cops are often very stupid. Think about it. They had no better career options than possibly getting shot for $24k/year! Cops don't start making any real money until they have some seniority so they can get some overtime and some details.
They also lie, constantly. The worst thing that ever happened to the American criminal justice system was Frazier v. Cupp, where SCOTUS ruled that cops can lie to suspects. It started a snowball effect that turned into an avalanche! Cops can't stop lying anymore! They lie to suspects, to victims, to witnesses, to prosecutors, to their partner, to their bosses, to judges, to each other - even to themselves!
When in doubt, request an attorney and don't say another word.
But if it's just a regular cop, on a regular day, and it's a regular traffic stop, then putting the officer at ease the ways I described will get you out of A LOT of tight spots.
These guys know they can be killed at any moment, literally. That shit takes a toll on a person. The stress, the anxiety, the rage - they're all symptoms of burn-out. Try to at least make him know that you're trying to put him at ease. Sometimes it doesn't work, but he knows what you're doing and appreciates the effort.
I answered your question, but I also told you a lot more. I hope the information is of use to you someday and helps you out.

Been pulled over in Ft Lauderdale for speeding and simply told the officer I have a loaded handgun in the glove department while handing him drivers license. He wanted to see it so took it out, ejected the clip, emptied the chamber, handed the weapon to him, he looked, remarked " Very Nice" while handing it back to me, telling me to slow down a little and that was that.

p.s. used the word "been" because it's happened more than once

Yep.

Alaska has had various concealed carry laws over the last bunch of years. The current law makes it a crime to neglect to inform a LEO of the presence of a concealed weapon upon making contact.

Considering how many of them might be trigger-happy cowards, I found years ago that abruptly saying, "I have a gun." may not be the wisest survival choice.

So for years, on the rare occasion that I have to spend time answering questions for Johnny Law, I almost immediately say, "I'm required by State statute to inform you that there is a (loaded) concealed weapon, not in plain view, in this vehicle."

This statute we have, in my understanding, applies to ANY weapon that can be deemed to be a 'concealed weapon', to include knives longer than 3" blade that aren't in plain view, whether a spring-assisted knife, switch-blade, OTF, or regular folding knife..

There's a certain amount of subjugation in these (what I reference as) "please don't shoot me because you're a coward afraid of your own shadow" routines, but doing as the author advises above, may well keep more people alive, who don't need to get shot for reaching for their documents..

And to temper the cop/author's words, I haven't researched it in many years now, but last time I checked, LEOs weren't even in the top 10 jobs re. work-related mortality, unless you include cirrhosis of the liver from heavy drinking, or their own family members getting tired of their abuse.

Top 25 most dangerous jobs in the United States

https://www.ishn.com/articles/112748-top-25-most-dangerous-jobs-in-the-united-states

Crossing Guards were # 12 on the list, Police were # 22 on the list.

Used to joke about the mortality rates for midnight shift 7-11 counter help, who, unlike the Popo, can't carry any firearms in most cases, and only want to help you pay for your Slurpee... but they get held up, sometimes murdered or raped, fairly regularly.

Never saw a parade with flags and 21-gun salutes for the Slurpee dude, though. Nor for the crab fishermen and loggers.

That would require parking the patriarchal mind-fucking, conditioning and propaganda that has us kneeling before swine, instead of rewarding the blue collar folks who actually suffer or die for us more often, while making less than a living wage.

But the cops are quite good at art, from what I understand. Most often, in a serious encounter with aggressive folks, the cops will show up in time to draw a chalk outline around your body.

But we should worship them. Or so we're told... routinely...
