Because as often as not, in politics, 'the scum rises to the top'.

As I said years ago, with some limited background in psych testing, normal people don't get out of bed in the morning thin king they want to define and run the lives of 350,000,000 people. That takes a self-absorbed person (more often than not) who truly believes that their shit is so tightly wired, that not only should they run their -own- life, but the lives of others, too.

Problem is, however, they are often the ones with the least amount of insight into their own demons and delusions. And they can convince folks they're Jesus' clone, better than any used car salesperson can convince a would-be buyer that a car was only driven to church on Sundays, by a little old woman with no feet or hands, who lived a block from the church.

And the supporters eat that stuff up, due to political amnesia; (surprisingly) letting the same miscreants ream them over and over, apparently unable to remember the last reaming.

It's rampant. Literally.

But have you noticed ...no one who imitates trump gets away with the shit trump did? I'm sure our governor hasn't got the goods in people or is able to threaten and manipulate others like he wants. He is not a true sociopath he is just a doofus who had a good idea to create a new kind of bank to take advantage of the relaxed banking laws..then decided to run for public office on his riches...but he tries this bullying shit and falls flat every time. He looks moronic as a result.
I have a theory Senator Inhofe will resign then Bullying Stitt will slide himself into that post and remain in it until he is an octogenarian...

I feel ya. I miss gas. Fancy glass top electric range, is still a stupid electric range.

My traeger beats them all. As long as it's not raining. My 30 year old weber charcoal grill is my go to for steaks, and burgers. I made some heart shaped burgers for Valentines day.

I smoke, or bbq dinner on Sundays to give the wife a night off from cooking and dishes.
