I think I'm really crazy, I don't know where to put it yet, I don't have LEDs for it, and here in Brazil it's forbiddenYou be crazy

The A5 crosses I have run generally seem NL5 effect with haze potency. Or variations in there.Out of the A5 x Mirakel Thai crosses I have grown, I would say most lean pretty heavily toward Thai expressions. I'm not super familiar with Colombian, but I don't think I have found a Colombian pheno our of any of the A5 x Mirakel Thai hybrids. So I definitely believe that.
I'm talking about crosses made using the A5 x Mirakel Thai male, not the straight A5hz. That one has been circulating recently. I have no experience with straight A5 alone. The A5 crosses I have run generally seem NL5 effect with haze potency. Or variations in there.
Morphology as well. Pistils may look Thai sometimes or SE Asian profiles, but also muted at times. Morphology is difficult with a equatorial polyhybrid Fgen unknown to NL5. I am practiced at it, but the amount of recombinant markers is so extensive and then refixed with each make...
Thai and Colombian can foxtail, but so can NL5. It's got that flat top trident which can be accentuated through long flower. NL5 itself was always believed to have SE Asian in it. It's rare, but I have found foxtail type in NL.. interestingly it even smoked with the back of pallet metal exhale that is reminiscent of some haze.
I think @HEMPY is referring to his experience with classic Colombian vs Thai effect. An up front freight train vs, creeper wave after wave.
In that context A5 effect does seem to lean toward what some would consider NL/Colombian effect most of the time. Dreamy, potent and pleasant and also lead boots heavy and confusing at times. Not surging waves of energy psychedelic. Either way. It was the influential haze key released and through selection it's already been improved by many.
I think it would be easier to find a clean Thai effect in THH at 5% that in A5. (If that is the efd ft associated with Thai effect)
A5t was what I was referring to above effect. There are some morphological Thai. I suppose it depends on the context and everyone has different experiences. I butt heads with @HEMPY, but can also appreciate the practicality of how he groups selections.I'm talking about crosses made using the A5 x Mirakel Thai male, not the straight A5hz. I'm going to cut all the Colombians, keep only the Thai ones in pollinationrecounts Thai preferences so even in OP I think there is going to be a higher % of Thai in the winter 2024 increase. He said as much and really loving several he found in this years hunt already. from the same lot as @StickyBandit and @Knop I think
Merry Christmas everyone!
I'm going to cut all the Colombians, keep only the Thai ones in pollination
It sounds like the way to resurrect the old ones..I do believe everything that has selectively been into obscurity can be restored. Even though Nevil's finds were exceptional beyond any publicly available parent it is very difficult to really clean out the NL.I'm going to cut all the Colombians, keep only the Thai ones in pollination
The line seems to be doing that naturally due to the Thai line being more prolific and early on pollen production. The difficulty in my opinion will be to stop the Colombian side from fading into obscurity and being lost to time altogether. Maybe it's not the best component of Positronics but it may be a line that has mostly all but disappeared from the world in it's pure formI'm going to cut all the Colombians, keep only the Thai ones in pollination
It does have that Jurassic long uniformity that reminds me of Caps and Diotte's Colombian selections. Is that a male or female? The line seems to be doing that naturally due to the Thai line being more prolific and early on pollen production. Does this look familiar?

That's the female. I only have one like that with the pronounced saw tooth from the whole pack, others are similar in length but not quite as strikingFor me It

I know you know my theories on outlier and ghosts. That they are generally some of the strongest breeders for passing their traits along. I have a really good feeling about that one for you. That's the female. Are you going to do an isolation of the Colombians for seed?
Save a virgin branch to bang with the glowing lumbo! This one literally glows! it's not the light. Maybe she is an outlier? She's also Colombian leaning

I'm very limited on space but I would like to. The wife is not keen on me doing seed runs! She's an enthusiast smoker, not growerAre you going to do an isolation of the Colombians for seed?
