How much money, food, shelter, smoke has the community actually provided for you?

Well, it’s not necessarily about what is returned. Giving is fulfilling (for me) in and of itself. Kindness feeds my soul. So I’m a bit selfish actually.

Even so, if I do a tally I’m well ahead.

@MadMac has provided countless tidbits of guidance and advice.
@flower~power sent me OH seeds which I suspect will harbor some top smoke of lifetime (once I get set up indoors).
Solarlogos - I can’t even begin to say how much he shared with me. The guy is legend good at this stuff and somehow as humble as they come…one of my top 2 (so far) came from him and I’m going to smoke tonight in his honor

Many others along the way, and more to meet and build fellowship with in the future I’m sure. I’m not even a serious grower but have been more than blessed by the community.

I get ya, it’s not a pragmatic mindset and opens ya up for risk, no bashing of those who are different. just the way I stumble through this adventure!

dont get me wrong the mad macs most heady then toms then todds and i liked plants in all 3 lines from only a few beans ,,i simply expected less sedative in the lines in generall ,,

Tom's work including his THH is hands down all 5 star. He is not, at all, riding on platitude. Others have emulated, some have copied, he's the real McCoy. We are very fortunate, indeed lucky, to have him here, alive and well, continuing to do his robust and very fine work! Personally very excited to see and here about the near future!

let me be clear ,,i liked the thh f2 from mac, i had 4 females all dsiffrent two were similar one being the most thai leaning of all ,.because of messing up cuts i ran the 3 twice and only ran thai pheno once of the 3 i liked two more than other good yeiding strong sativa i was gonna keep one for some nice smoke but it wernt what others would call 5% i sill have to run the most thai pheno again as i couldnt tell first time wernt grown right small result to ,,ill post a pic soon as she recovering from my usual clumsininess lol an as i said im the que for toms seeds with you brother

It doesn't have to be pretty to kill ya. But, often it does look rather special, though it may not be something sweet and nice. I've known belching coughers that blasted ya straight off the planet alright. Black, tarry, and spotted with moondust. Some looked flat as a pancake. Sure did the job. They aren't quotes, they're metaphors, for the point I was making. Here's a statement : When breeding, at first look not for keepers, but those to reject. A poor grow can reveal more of a plants potentials than a perfect one.

I like my hazes and sativas very much. I'm hesitant about Tom's though. When he talks of the effect as that hiding behind curtains type high it kind of puts me off. That would have exited me at age 18, but not sure it's what I want at age 60? I think I prefer a happier, positive and social high these days.

In case I'm wrong I'd love to hear more about the effects of THH vs other hazes.

Try it before you write it off. How someone interprets their high can be very different than yours. I never experienced paranoia from cannabis until I was over 50. Most of the unenjoyable parts were my own doing from inducing a panic attack. Start with a small toke, if it does affect you badly it will be short lived.

You are absolutely right, everyone experiences it different. The thing is I have a 4x4 tent and growing sativas is a lengthy process. I need to carefully choose the genetics I put in there because I can't have an entire grow that can cause adverse effects.

I have experienced paranoia before. When younger I loved those terror strains but not sure about now. Even only a couple of years ago I had a variety that I called the doom pheno because it made you feel like something bad was about to happen. Not that pleasant.
