I am growing 254 now in a 8x16ft scenario with a single 1000w halide so there really is no excuse man. Yes, small pots, torture them at all turns, tame the shrew. You know the answers to these questions before you asked them.

So out of 254 how many will you transplant up? Presumably you'll have to widdle them down to 100 and at least put them in 5 gallons so you can see which buds have quality? You should be able to fit 100 5 or 10 gallon pots in an 8 x 16. Ide top em at least once and then tie down whatever you have to in order to keep the canopy even and add 5 more lamps. Never grown pure haze but Ide post some pics If I haddent just gotten out of the slammer and had lost everything camera/computers and all to a gang of commie thieves just before that. Basically im just rotting on probation buying seeds waiting till they let me go.

• FYI I had one plant from seeds I collected in Kerala that smelled just like vicks-vapo-rub this was more than 40 years ago, and the structure was a lot like yours not typical Kerala at all.
  I smoked a lot of Kerala weed in Kerala and did not see it in my search, most were slimmer NLD types and often as sweet as bubble gum, most seeds I grew in Calif were slim and sweet, great Cannabis, and sinsemilla when grown by the best farmers in Munnar. I visited many farms near Munnar. I paid $3.50 a Kg for the very best, and ground them all (10kg) up looking for the seeds, maybe a dozen in each Kg. I gave the weed after seed removal to my guide who took me to the farms, he was a cripple who could still outwalk me through the mountains, a serious smoker he was, and understood quality.

I had a bag of master kush that smelled like viks vapor rub. Pure tea tree oild/eucalyptus. Just bot the (Master kush x chem91 bx3) from Lucky Dog. Hopefully I can afford to grow them out soon!

Well since I made all those seeds (SMC / Durban x SMG aka Durlumbo) and I’ve got the SMG pure, the SMC pure & The Durban pure and I think it’s Durban, but I don’t trust them Cali fellas either and whom really knows what’s in “Durban”….

Plant drops nearly all its leafs at end but it’s mostly all flower anyhow…

If two people were doing the growing in different conditions, there may be some difficulty comparing the value of the inputs from the outputs alone, but when all plants are grown identically, the differences between plants can always be spotted.

RGD - I agree - please go back 4 or so years at another forum, see my posts on Durlumbo & what to look for when I first made them; it’s always been the green ones, colors in general equal sedation way more often than not has been my POV for very, very long time

True but what I'm getting at is if the whole set up was garbage then even though a good pheno will be a little better then the rest it will all be relatively shwagy. The point being if one guy posts a frosty one that was grown close to good lights with good soil and nutes etc. An another guy posts one grown with cow shit and water, 8 feet away from the lamp; then who's to say which one was actually better at the genetic level or that the one that looks good is fake just because it isn't all larf with tiny caylex.

Also for example if one plant likes a hot dry environment and another one likes a more mild climate because they were different phenos if they were grown contradictory to their predisposed genetic contingency for one environment over another it may skew the results.

I’ve kept my mouth quiet about many of my creations a long time; but lately some people are going @ spreading BS & lies so I figure the best way to stop that is to address it all now out loud & very clearly so there’s no confusion moving forwards…

Personally I think seeds & plants belong to us all and we’re all as individuals just merely points/clogs along very long seed-line wheels, if we as individuals can make tiny improvements along the ways & then share on forwards we’ve done our parts & the best we can…

I’ve seen WAY too many people sit on piles of amazing seeds due inaction or they get too old or die off before being able to do much with them, lost for eternity…

Either spread seeds far & wide as gifts or sell them if one can; but be honest about provenance & pay respects to those known in the wheel before you - seems rather simple yet the execution in this Space makes it seem like someone is asking you to climb to the moon…

PS: I’ve got some gems made with the Oax 12Fingers you’ve shared too (many thanks to you); just haven’t gotten around YET to circling back & playing with it more - I’ve got two white boards of lists of “projects” just so I don’t forget -

History repeats itself & as fools homogenize & self away into oblivion; often - look across this forum and many others….10 plants popped, one selected & selfed, seeds shared the world @, then it gets repeated…. Why do my plants not look great, I don’t get all the hoopla - haha

You get new seed you bulk them first then you play, always being able to revert back to each stage if you’re prudent, sadly very few do this… otherwise vigor, quality & uniqueness gets tossed out with the bath water…

How well we grow def impacts the quality of the harvest. Growing well can change a person's perspective on something they thought was no good. I've grown plenty that are different depending on their health.
