to this day I wont ever smoke a blunt that's crafted out of a green vega! I puked so fucking hard and frequent that I had to go into a bedroom in some ones house and slept it off for 4 hours before my now wife found me. my insides were all over the place and everything was spinning, shit maybe the weed was laced?
Those prices sound right for NYC. Wasn't to long ago those prices were the same in upstate. What people don't realize is we have some serious dank, and there isn't an abundance. Sure you can find cheap hay but if you like proper herb, its going to cost you.
Buddy was paying 10k a month for a loft in NYC, and he said parking was included. I didn't know that was a big deal until he told me he paid 3k a month for a off street garage at his last place. For 3k a month you can own a 5000sq ft house where I come from. Crazy how expensive that city is!

if you want dank and you live in the big apple expect the price to be high. if the growers weren't getting the money they deserve for the top quality why bother growing for others? if cost of living is that high, what would you expect? I don't feel an ounce of the most primo bud should command over $300 but I feel the average stuff should be in the $200-$250 range
move is my advise..san diego has way better prices and climate..and theres soooo many dispensaries/deliveries theres a price war going on...yeehaw

I would think that bicycle delivery within a smaller area of coverage would be the way to go.
I applaud their effort. Couldn't quite tell if they were doing med cannabis or maybe that doesn't apply in New York yet ?

Those prices are for yuppies in the city and not accurate for the state as a whole imo.

It isn't just NY. It is the whole non recreational northeast. I mentioned in the other thread and people got angry at me. In Pennsylvania weed is illegal. Even the medical bill that might not pass is very strict. It won't be like California.
In fact if medical is passed then having recreational weed will be even more illegal because now you will be dealing in prescription medications. They will lock you up and throw away the key. If medical passes the rec prices will most likely go up.
In my area there is some steady low grade weed that is $150 an ounce. Then there is mid grade local or out of state California and Colorado weed. Usually Blue Dream but sometimes GDP or Barry White. That go for $250 an ounce or $40 an eighth.
Then premium bags of Chem D, SSH, Triangle OG or Ghost OG easily get $400 an ounce and get broken down into $75 for a 4 gram eight or $20 a gram.
The reason is if you get caught selling you are most likely going to jail.

Want to grow your own? Well any number of plants, like 1 plant, 1-5 years and $15,000 fine.
Want to make bubble hash or bho? Automatic 5 years in state prison and $15,000 fine.

2 1/2 hrs north of the city & the average price per ounce has dropped from 300/350 for Kind to 200/250 for 90% of the guys slinging bags . I have my own circle & they've been coming to me for years because they know what i give them is as good as its going to get . so i can still get my 300 per pretty easily . used to do 8ths (3.5 grams ) for 50 , but i dropped it to 40 because they have been with me so long , why continue to rape them ? i make plenty at 300 per , greed will only get you less in the end as far as i'm concerned . reward loyalty & it all comes back to you in the end .

Yeah man leave those delivery service prices behind you and 3.5's for $40-$50 is the norm. Grams of oil usually go for $60-$80.
I'd say half of the market is subpar stuff from the west that couldn't sell out there. Best stuff is usually locally sourced or comes from hippy family growers, ect.

I do the exact same Dansbud. $40 an eighth and $300 and oz. The people that buy ounces to sling get $400 for a whole ounce but usually don't do that. They break it down to $75 eight and $20 grams.
Lots of 9-5 hard working guys like to go out on Fri and Sat drink some beers and take a few hits to get high. They spend $20 a week on weed to smoke a few tokes on their Fri/Sat night out. They only spend $20 a week on weed and don't care if it costs $20 a gram. Others an eighth last them all week. So they can spend $75 a week on a 4 gram eighth. Many of them are killing it working the gas wells.
One friend buys 4 ounces a week. Spends $1200 and sells them for $2200 to $2400. He makes $1200 a week in a few nights work.
