FJ: The methode you described to dry is also me prefered methode. Keeps in flavor and smell!!! Nothing like a good 7 to 10 day hang before manicuring! Then I dry on screen racks for another 10-15 days before they go into paper bags for 3-7 days and then in curing jars...smooooooth smoke brotha...nothing but

I trim then hang mine exactly like OG...sometimes ill trim and leave in bigger sections but it just depends on how much time I have.
I hang and dry for just under a week ...then snip the buds off the stalk and put in jars to cure...then I'll open the jars daily for a few minutes...and i keep them cool and dark.
small buds i just toss to the bottom of the "dry box" and they dry nice w/ the rest.
i like that box u got tho OG...and the tumbler is been in my gameplan for a while...ill get to that pretty soon too.

sorry to rain on the day but fuckin found mites today...
so the battle has begun
this will be short and sweet nothing in bloom but a jock horror 18 days in and everything else is vegging so i am gonna hit em with a pyrethrum bomb and wait 3 days and hit em again...
then proceed with a foliar IF needed

haha its weord i went to pick up some stuff for em and the guy at the grow store says everyone has mites...
only had em once before and wasnt a problem so im sure it wont be again i have it under control...
no sex yet but the one that burned is looking male only time will tell...
i know it seems discouraging but a grow with no problems is.... well its not a grow IMO

no shit and I agree ...I have had tons of problems in my grows....I just havent had mites "YET". (did have white flys once tho).
its only been in my last couple of grows that I have leveled things out...oh yeah tho...I killed the one due to over-LST....yeah nuthin but problems LOL

A is my keeper tfb , so far , just from growing ,smelling , looking and manicuring
I just put them in jars and i think ... ~ 5 days should be enough to lose that green smell/taste ...

update: all 3 germed, but one stopped living after about 1" of tap root
put one in dro, the other in soil.
moved all the plants in veg under the HPS, going to transplant my two clones tonight and take some more clones (i have to more clones about 1 week from cutting, expecting roots soon)
I'm still trying to figure out the best setup for this harvest, as it will be my last for a couple months. I am pretty set on a Scrog, but I'd like to try one of those curved methods to better match the footprint of the light.
I'm determined to more than make up for the pitiful yield i got on the last harvest (due to user error, not these great genetics).
all the popcorn nugs were dry yesterday (that dryer works pretty well but i'm sure the smoke is real harsh) so i started curing them last night. I just put both the TFB and SSBS in the same jar because... well... they're fucking popcorn thats why
a little bit of dry seive 150ug coated with shake for preservation... talk about some one hit shit, strong as the oil imho

yes like Fj said keep it simple bro and you will have better results then anything else...
i cant wait to post up pics of my babies flowering...
TFB#2 was a male so he was pulled still no signs of the other 2's sex but will keep everyone informed...
i would have kept the tfb male but have way more on my hands then i need so i decided to kill him...

(does the delayed show of sex have anything to do w/ hydro)? I have never had mine take so long to show sex.....(are/were they just in "hardcore veg" mode and not even thinking about flowering)...due to how they are grown/fed....just curious on that.
OG...I gotta agree w/ the boys on the change of technique? ...I'd stick w/ what works.
I tried scrog for a couple grows in the past....and was not impressed...but I have seen some VERY impressive scrog grows.
and I have done the LST thing too and as u guys know I killed 1 plant to that.
I find that my plants are happiest (and yield best...and look prettiest) w/ the least amount of stress...just letting them grow natural, and not even pruning anything that isnt ready to fall off.
thats just my opinion tho
(btw scrog is pretty stressful for plants....they really wanna grow up and bigger, but are constantly pinned under the screen (that wasted effort could have been effort that the plant used to make nice dense buds)
