gaiusmarius had a stroke just after new year - and he has not been well - I have had some communication with him - and he is getting better - but has lost some memory that he hope's will return in time - I wish him a fast recovery -

My wife took multiple strokes about 8 months ago and it has devastated our life's

That's some pretty sad news, I never really cared for his posts very much but I'd never wish a stroke on anyone...well maybe accept Putin but definitely nobody from this site. I'll add him to my prayers

crossed swords with him more than once, but it was "normally" pretty civil. we agreed just often enough to make each of us question our morals & sanity, lol...i hope he returns as well. MOST people change somewhat after something like a stroke, heart attack, or cancer battle.

Had a bit of a chat with gaiusmarius yesterday evening - he sounded ok - but had a headache - I did communicate the concern and best wishes from some members here - and said that he will pop into to say hello on the site in a while - how long a while he didn't say - hopefully soon -
