i was using two hydrofarm 6inch fans to air cool my lights then my homie lent me his 10inch vortex fan.
swapped it out for one 6 then didnt even run the one on the other end.
shes pretty loud but she pulls some fucking air, i was just running her at 70% using a 1ton portable ac also and i was cooling 4 600's. although it was winter at the time lol.
definetly going vortex next time i buy some fans, im pretty sure she pulls more cfm than my hydrofarm 12'' fan but the hydrofarm is alot quieter .
def agree bout buying grow tent along with ur other gear.

Yup, Thats what I am banging, I am tellin ya frickin SILENT, people always go oh my fan is quiet no it aint! I run that with 8 inch insulated ducting jammed inside 12 inch insulated for my exhaust, not a fucking sound comin out of there, you could stand with your ear to the wall and hear nothing. You go inside my room and all you hear is ballast buzzin bro, no air movin or fan at all.
that's badass tony, I am considering that... if I can get a good deal it will be worth it due to the money I will save from not having to buy a silencer...
These things are so quiet I dont know how to explain it except that them can fans are not no where near as quite, it sounds like my desktop computer running, maybe quieter lol. Its so quiet im tellin ya sometimes I was tweaking thinking people would hear the ballast buzz... I have a box fan I run to overpower the sound of the buzz. lol
lol right on... what kinda scrubber do you run on yours? any smells? I'll have to remember to get the insulated ducting too...
word I'm going Phresh to save a few bucks but do any VERT heads know what I would need to hook up a 1000w quantum ballast to a bare bulb Hortilux?

Idk where you are but Renting around is not worth it at all unless you plan on blowing up the whole basement just to cover the rent and bills...
4 or 5 bedroom house for rent $1500+

I did not say you had to use those terms. Those terms should be a responsible persons lithmus test for readiness for ownership.
I personally have only bought under those terms but people feel more comfortable being a slave longer.
The idea is if you can afford those terms than the 30yr arms people get themselves hooked into are a breeze.

good point,but i could pay off my place in 15 years no penaltys ,I did what the bank suggested .shit if i had 26000 cash I would have just bought the place out right .but being a firstime buyer i went with what i thought was the best option .shit ive owned cars worth more and paid off in 5 years .but no rush IMO at this point
