Don`t even know why I`m around cuz my guys got this shit covered....

D Bro and Arm preach the truth Bro......it`s either.....or.....everything in between`s just a variable and limiting factor to be dealt with and fucks with consistent pulls run after run....

Krusty used ta hang spaghetti tubing with holes punched in it around the tops of the plants suspended from chicken wire hooked to CO2 tanks on controllers , and would kick on bigass exhaust fans during lights off to dump what the plants were getting rid of that they didn`t use during lights on cuz his monitors showed drastic ass spikes in CO2 during lights off and that`s no bueno mixed with high ass RH spikes as well with bigass plants that sweat/transpire like a mofo durin late bloomage......soooooo......

That`s when I came up on Heath`s twice per minute air exchange and once employed all ducks fell in a row for lights on as well as lights off conditions and I never looked back........anyways.....

Nowhere ta go but up with yer shit JD.....Carry on and keep dialin....

Peace...DHF.....:ying:.....

Very nice... If not for the Gavita's horizontal orientation requirement, I would be pretty mimicking this setup. Plants look fat, happy and greasy! Good job yo! This site has exponentially advanced my cause, great bunch of folks here sharing their knowledge!

Just a quick question DHF, shouldn't co2 be kicked off during lights-off period? Was under the assumption that during transpiration during lights-off co2 is not necessary? Sorry if this is an uneducated question...

He was sayin that shut the Co2 off with lights off if you go that route, and exchange 2x to deal with RH spikes during lights off, and to replenish CO2 during lights on when they need CO2. I know from experience. While you are replenishing CO2 in excess during lights off, you are continuing the air exchange to counter the RH spikes during lights off due to temp differentials, even though they do not need CO2 during lights off.
Based on studies, plants can only use a certain amount of Co2, and 2-3x exchange per minute is enough to get close enough. When you introduce CO2 you are beholden to more factors than you started off with. A google search of VPD will put it in perspective...

You just misunderstood my post Bro.....or rather you might not know that plants shit out all the CO2 they don`t metabolize with lights on during lights off , along with mega amounts of excess humidity/transpiration runnin bigger plants , and that`s what I was talkin bout with Krusty`s big ass warehouse grows and 3 lb plants with the exhausts getting rid of excess RH and CO2 during lights out.....anyways....

Hope that helps.....DHF......:ying:......

Edit :Your post wasn`t there last night when I made mine Arm , and that`s kinda sorta what I was getting at , but the CO2 in the air we breathe replenishes fast enough in the grow areas when they start again every day during lights on.......but....The air exchange takes care of getting rid of the excess the plants shit out they didn`t use during lights on kinda like if yas needta flush coco yas don`t use straight R/O or tap , yas use a 1/2 strength solution to slowly get rid of the excess.......

Don`t want cultured heathen to get even more confused , but yas done good Arm........

Peace......Freds.....

Thanks for breaking down the facts with the co2 guys. I might be waiting till spring to deal with that issue. Im worried bout the cold ass air coming if winter ever hits this shit hole state I'm in in the Midwest.... Anyways harvested the two Cindy's on Saturday so i have been kinda busy cleaning up and prepping the next round. Since the two phenos of Cheese and Chong are a bit longer flowering I went ahead and put the next two in and when the other two get harvested I will put the cindy sativa phenos in to flower. Enough ranting time for some pictures!

I like what you have going on. When you throw them in the 30's how high do have the bulbs? And i see your scrubber is set up for exhaust and you have a/c. How you scrubbing when your ac is on?

I do actually have a working knowledge of plants and their transpiration cycles. I merely interpreted DHF's post about Krusty's logging of Co2 levels as a possible function of C02 monitors spiking levels during lights-off. I have never worked with A/C and therefore C02 equipment. Fresh air is all that I have ever used or needed.

They go into the thirty gallon smart pot about two weeks before flower and I like to keep the bulb tip at the top of plants till after stretch. After stretch I put the ceramic socket at the top of the plants for canopy penetration. The ac is necessary as temps get to 90 with out it. I keep a solid 77 throughout the entire lights on with the mini split. Ac with fresh air exchange is not the most efficient but it seems to work fine. There is a drastic amount of heat to deal with with the bare bulbs.

Someone asked earlier about my air intake. I tried passive and it almost ripped the walls off the tent. I had a 8 inch fan from when I ran hoods so I hooked it up to a washable hepa filter with a fan speed controller to match the exhaust cfm. Passive bout imploded the room and full on 8 inch fan cfm caused a bit of smell issue along with the walls inflating out. A fan speed controller enabled me to get that sweet spot.

Yeah JD.....the active intake must be on a speed controller so as ta not outrun the exhaust hooked to the scrubber that causes drag and slows it down....and......

Until yas found the sweet spot , stank smell was escaping as yas stated.....

All about the sweet spots and dialage Bro......good lookin out.......

Holy fuck does this room blow out all expectations I had for it it's amazing........
Small Cindy 99 - 16zips......
Cindy 99 sativa - 29zips!!!

First run from seed without strain being dialed.

Again to the community and foremost DHF. Thanks so much! Never could of done it without all the great minds here.....

The next cheesy express and cheesy jones took to the room great and the old ones will be harvested within a few days as I am seeing some amber showing up. Then the next Cindy 99s sativa pheno will go in.

Needta be sweet ta that 29 oz Cindy and clone the dawgshit out of her , cuz she`ll be a ball buster fer sure monocropped guaranteed......

You got damn near 2 lbs off 1 plant the first try ?.........Respect....that`s what happens when yas do yer homework and put it into action.....but....it is also strain related.....and......

Chickenwire is yo friend with big plants , and I`m not sure it`s been said in the thread yet bout plants bein in a "diamond" pattern , and the lights bein in an "X" pattern or the reason for it , so.........

Gmax Bro.......When yas grow 4 bigass plants with lights in the corners and 1 in the middle along with the plants in the middle of the outside walls in said diamond pattern , what happens is this........

Each plant gets blasted sideways by 3 lights at all times and it`s physically impossible for the bare bulbs to NOT blast through the sideways canopy of said monsters as long as sucker branches on dominant lateral limbs are eliminated , and .........

Proper opening up of the plant after end of stretch from overhead support tied to the chickenwire not only allows the plants to breathe while they`re swellin durin late bloomage and help prevent airborn nasties from proliferatin and takin hold , but also allows optimum lumen penetration/absorption into the innermost regions of the plants for no flarfy bullshit , just hardass donkey dick frosty nuggage.........

Good job Bro.....Waitin for monocropped dialed rooms that kick it waaaaay higher than yas thought.......

Holler if I can help.......

Peace.....DHF.....:ying:.......

29zips of soaring happy Cindy 99 buds. There was quite a few donkey dicks that gave me a case of penis envy.... I would love to monocrop her for a stupid amount of yield but seriously I think this cheesy jones might put out over two this next round and by far outgrew the Cindy's in veg by 1.5 times! I'm taking the cheesy jones soon and those are some of the densest buds I have ever seen.... I grew out a deadhead og for a bit that was the densest by far before..... The choices...

Thanks for the kind words scotfree and jbonez!
DHF gotta few quick questions for ya.
1) Larf and sucker branches take it out progressively or in one foul sweep and when? I usually do it in a couple waves during stretch of preflower....
2) The cheesy jones and express have been in there since flip with 5k with no I'll effect. Now that the next Cindy's are in the room and everything is on schedule should I throttle it back to 3k with the flip box til after stretch to save a few bucks? What are the benefits of staying at 5k? Will I get more root mass at 5k?
Thanks for your time and knowledge DHF.

I'll be offline till probably Sunday or so but I'll get some pictures on the next update

Good karma and peace!
