sometimes a spray is the only way to get things back on track. once again, never do i spray in flower. I would rather smoke something that has been treated in veg than smoke PM or mites (yes there is plenty of both to go round and round). fix your problem then as frozenguy has said up your game and learn your craft. To each his own, I stand behind my finish product. When a cut enters my grow it is always sprayed with everything for 2 weeks before it ever meets its homegirls. live in a maner u can b proud of, Im proud of me. 1:ying:

Gunna get some eagle 20 to keep in my arsenal just in case I have to cross the PM bridge one day!!!! So if one wanted to cycle eagle 20 with another product so pm doesn't become resistant. What would be an equal product to eagle 20 that can be readily purchased?? A link to this product would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Its not about the product name its about switching modes of action.

yeah ive used it. I run perpetual and pm kept showing up with only the eagle20 (pm was reintroduced a few times though). used Sovran and havent had any pm for 2-3 months now. I like it because its powder, seems like it would have longer shelf life. @ 1/16 of a teaspoon to 1-2 gal it should last forever. 1:ying:

the sorvan is a powder, so its then sprayed on, right?
can is it veggie friendly?
can it be used in veg?

i read about fungalor bombs, to use to clean the rooms out.
do you use these with the plants in the room?

I found out the volck oil i keep works on PM :)
hopefully keep it at bay untill i get some greencure

last Q, I'm getting e20 for my veg plants,
is this a systemic that is sprayed on vegetation? or watered into the soil

once i get this damn PM mess under control, I'll be proactive with it like I am now with broad mites.. reading up on mold spore UV light with kill mold and spores :)
specifically UV-C light is the one thats most effective.
it only works against surface mold, understandably but if spores can be negated your way ahead of the game and a UV-C lamp can help do that.
here's a nice place to start looking
http://www.breathepureair.com/uv.html

has anyone else messed with this?

UVC does kill molds and mildews but actually making it work in the garden is not something that anyone has really gotten right ........ UV sterilization would work great for your intake air, but you really need to make sure you shield that bulb. it will trash your eyes very quickly and it can cause damage to DNA from what i read.

Sulfur Burner and conditions, don't use the burner after a few weeks into flower 4 days on 4 days off. Correct your conditions so it don't come back. If you don't it will come back I have a back up dehumidify just incase my first one fills to fast. Room conditions is the only way IMO to not get this shit or u bandage it with the sulfur burner.

Edit yea sorry some good brownies >.<

When I mentioned E20 at the grow shop the dude told me it lasts for like years in a plant, and isn't safe for consumption. Now if thats bullshit it wouldn't be the very first time he's told me some straight BS, dude recommended some really bullshit spray for Botrytis this year.. Didn't do shit.

So how long does E20 last?

they wont sell you a cure for pm.... only something to treat it periodically....

thats like docotors wont cure you they just treat your symtoms

You have to reapply the GC @ 20-30 day intervals according to the label so that would be your active period....

not really trying to kill mold/mildew but spores
one type is a small uvc air scrubber in my link,
mounts in the corner and is designed to shield your eyes unless you elevated on a ladder etc etc.
does 75-100sqft
UVC germicidal lamps are installed on angles within the housing and reflectors are included for equal distribution of the germicidal UV light waves. A louver restricts and concentrates the ultraviolet rays above eye level so that personnel who occupy the room will not be exposed to the UV light while the UV sterilizers are on. The units are shipped fully assembled with two electrical knockouts on top and bottom for wiring access.

looks like I'll be treating the symptoms until harvest, in about a month.
then get to cleaning and bombing everything with fungflor.
i do not want this stuff coming back or infecting my other gro sites

all your sentences run together.
makes it hard to understand what your saying??
use periods
or drop to another line to separate them :smoke:

I live in the PNW ....PM is alive and welI living on alot of plants in the woods in the area I live so PM spores are always present in the air

I thought about killing the spores in the air through out my entire house... went out bought and installed REME ...install it right at your furnace outtake

Remes hydrogenies the air.. this Reme unit stays on 24/7...everytime your heater comes on its killing baterica mold cold viruses ect...they say its good for 20 min after the heater shuts off

005-37.jpg

Very easy installation.... has a template for the circular hole and screw holes....cut the hole, drill the screw holes, comes with self tapping screws...plug it in yor done

001-74.jpg

Another environmental attempt..... I'm using to controll PM is a silicone ....PROTEKT....it is suppose to keep PM from rooting on your leaf through a silicone barrier

You add 5 ml protekt per gallon of water .....spray your leaves and water your plant ...i mix greencure in with the plant spray

always mix water with your protekt before addding fertilizer or another additive

that unit is $500 on eaby ....cost me around that too http://www.ebay.com/itm/TopTech-Air...t=LH_DefaultDomain_0&var=&hash=item27cdeb7135

if you install it yourself it will save you hundreds too

The Air Knight REME is designed to help eliminate indoor air quality problems by reducing odors, air pollutants, VOCs (chemical odors), smoke, mold, bacteria and viruses.

The Air Knight REME is easily mounted into the home’s air conditioning and heating system air ducts where many indoor air quality problems start.

When the HVAC system is in operation the Air Knight REME creates an Advanced Oxidation Process consisting of: Ionized hydro-peroxides, super oxide ions and hydroxide ions, all of which are friendly oxidizers that revert back to oxygen and hydrogen after the oxidation of the pollutant.

ok... got the eagle20 in.
GC is hopefully right behind for the bloom room

i have plants in veg near the infected area and i'm sure spores drifting around the place waiting for conditions to get right for
them to grow..

on the 1st page krunch sez
its a systemic poison like avid. you only need 2 ml per gallon for this to work, of course a spreader should be used such as a few drops of liquid dish soap. use it to get rid of pm, or as a prevention.
if its systemic do you water it into the soil...?
but if its like avid as krunch sez then you spray it on and it will work systemically thru foliar feeding, yes?
and you don't have to be as particular with hitting undersides of the leaf because its systemic...

ya you need to spray them! DO NOT WATER THEM WITH THAT...

that is all :joint:

sorry you got spores bud! but this stuff really works when used properly

drifting

IMHO the best way is a sulfur burner. burn once in veg and once when your 10 days in flowering. ive never had an issue with pm since using a burner
