This Is How You Kill Powder Mildew Forever!!!!!

Don't spray any chemicals on your plants when in flowering. With very non toxic chemicals you can spray up to 1-2 weeks into flowering, but definitely not something like Eagle 20. It will likely remain in your plants when you harvest effecting taste, smell and quality of buds.. Not to mention any health risks with smoking myclobutanil residue in your buds...

Yeah 10 parts water 1 part hydrogen peroxide for the spray. You want to use the 3% stuff, its safe. I've used H202 spray before and it works wonders on PM. I also sprayed it after chop and let dry, didnt see any PM in the finished product.

I highly recommend SaferGro Mildew Cure as an alternative to GreenCure for late flowering. It is OMRI and gives your leaves a nice shine and smells like Garlic. It keeps PM away for about 1.5 weeks or more. When hit with PM I use it up until last week before harvest, and then H202 spray from there.

If you've got a heavy infestation of PM that returns every 3 days or so, i'd recommend trashing your plants, it will likely remain in the dried buds and its not pleasant to smell or smoke and will irritate your throat & lungs and give you a headache. The high is speedy and paranoid, its not recommended.

I have found that foliars with zink in em kill pm, not systemically like Eagle20, but if you're late in flower find a foliar with ZINK in it.

Is that 10 parts water and one part hydrogen peroxide? I'm harvesting the 30th of this month. I hate using greencure because it really darkens my pistils and makes my buds a little dry. Thanks Krunch!

ya, 10% hydrogen peroxide. get the strong stuff and dilute it....

back in the day before there was a cure for pm, we would drench the plant in 10% hydro perox right before chop, the put the plant in front of a huge fan to dry, then harvest, no pm!

I have used the 3% H202 from the store (brown bottle) straight, it works great for spot spraying and fizzling any PM on the nugs that might still be left at harvest.

A few runs ago, before i found out about Eagle-20, I got PM for the first time. It was a long, hard fight.

I used the Zone Penetrator combo, which has zinc and copper and chloramines. It worked but worked best when sprayed 3 or 4 times maybe 3 days apart, which then caused the PM to recede. Spraying the Z/P combo just once would hold it back for a week maybe, but it always came back. After multiple sprayings 3 days apart it finally went away, but it was a total bitch of a fight.

I haven't seen PM, and none of my friends have seen PM since i got the Eagle-20 and shared it with my buddies.

Thanks again Krunch!

Eagle-20 is nasty, like many other things we use, but used responsibly, I think it's better than smoking PM spores.

I'm actually fighting super mildew right now. Its too late for Nova, I guess I could but would have to wait a few weeks after drying to consume the dry weed.

Now I've had mildew on my crops before but usually a couple of sprays with SM90/Defender/H2o2 and it would disappear but this time I've sprayed it three times in three day intervals with Serenade/SM90/BioSoy and its just comes back stronger on all new growth.

I'm gonna do one more spray today with the following and see what happens. Defender/BioSoy/Neem/Pro Guard (Potassium Silicate) I'd like to add Potassium Bicarbonate but don't have any atm and can't get it till Monday.

See what happens.

i have been spraying with 1tsp of Potassium Bicarbonate/gal, greenwhatevever, keeps coming back. i got some Zone for free 250ml. i dont think that 1ml per gallon is going to do anything. that is the dosage on the label.

anyway, more concerned about the Immunox. same chemical as Eagle 20 but waaaay less concentrated. however, easily obtainable at Homo DePo

should i try it first or not? it probably is about $20 so i dont want to waste any money on it if it wont do the job. thx

ALSO!!! what about a higher concentration of the PBicarb? anyone tried 2tsp or a tbl spoon/gal? i have been getting a few leaves dropping dead, dont know if it was the pb or the straight 3%HyPO i sprayed on them. i have started taking the plant to the shower, hosing it with the PB, then rinsing it immediately with my hi ph water. just did it this am so i dont know what it will do.

please keep it on subject.......

THIS THREAD IS NOT ABOUT BAND AIDS, hoping you will get rid of powder mildew....

this thread is about eagle 20, the powder mildew cure.......

sorry but Immunox, being having the same chemical in it.......
besides YOU said you would "look into it" so....

anyway, i dont really care anymore, i just ordered a pint of eagle 20 from tampa ag products.

keep it on subject???? perhaps 2 tsp of PB per gallon would not be a bandaid. maybe it would do something besides nothing. MAYBE there is somebody out there who has used it and NOT killed their plants?????

this thread is about eagle 20, the powder mildew cure.......

Actually might be a cure for now but eventually like with Avid/Floramite/Monitor/Lagon/Meltatox it'll stop working. 90% of growers don't follow proper application procedures then stand there like retards wondering why fungi and bugs are destroying their crops.

The person that I get my Nova from uses different fungicide in his commercial green houses (not weed) so that the mildew/botrytis don't get used to them.

I'm 3 days into flower on a 9 week strand, and have a light case of pm. Can I still use eagle 20, or is it too late? I've used zone and saturator before, but like you guys have said, it only knocks it back for a little while. Thanks for the help in advance.

Do you know anywhere to get it in northern Cali? I'm in Sacramento. I was going to overnight it from an online store tommorow. But that means I would be at day 5 when I receive it. Once again, thanks for your help in advance. I know this is going to take care of my problem. I've been winning the battle, but it's time to win the war.

And I thought Eagle20 was just another bandaid LOL :)

http://www.umass.edu/umext/floriculture/fact_sheets/pest_management/powdery_mild.htm

Fungicides with the active ingredients propiconazole (Banner Maxx), myclobutanil (Eagle, Systhane), triadimefon (Bayleton, Strike), fenarimol (Rubigan), thiophanate methyl (Cleary's 3336), potassium bicarbonate (Armicarb, MilStop), or sulfur are registered for Powdery mildew control on ornamentals.

The Powdery mildew fungi can develop resistance to any of the fungicides, except sulfur, listed above so be sure to alternate fungicide applications among chemical classes.

Still floors me Krunch - You can only offer the information. A large percentage of people will still believe in the folklore that is milk, bicarbonate etc.....

What ya gonna do?

Krunch , where you getting this stuff. Online stores won't ship to CA and local shops treat this shit like that dood in Harry potter where they don't want to even mention the name. My cousin just setup a 15k and he's spotting some PM. I've had pm before and have used Dutch masters, sulfur burners, milk, none of it has ever worked for me. How can I get my hands on sone eagle20 in socal?

Krunch, I got my eagle in the mail today. I sprayed them earlier today. I'm on day five of flower, I was wondering if I should spray one more time on day 8 or 9 to make sure I got full coverage of the plant. Is that to soon to spray again, or just not a good idea? Once again thanks for your help in advance. I'm hoping this will take care of all my pm issues. And big herb tree, Tampa agriculture ships to Cali for free, and it's only $53 and takes 3 days. They over nighted it to me for $70 with tax and shipping.
