This and that

I've already received my seeds for my fall/winter indoor grow. G13 Haze and Acapulco Gold. I'll grow two of each in my 4x4 tent and mainline them all. I mainline them to keep the canopy even, keep them shorter and I find it gives me a more even bud size throughout the plant. I also find them much easier to trim.
I'll likely mainline a Pineapple chunk in one of my small 2x2 tents too.

Thats great your friend gave you that GDP plant and its taken off, is that a clone or from seed? What does it mean to mainline a plant?

That was a seed plant. Mainlined plants are topped at certain nodes until the desired amount of tops are reached. The idea is that all the tops will get an equal amount of nutrients and auxins. All the new tops would have equal Apical dominance. This differs from a manifold trained plant. I'll post some pictures when I start to train them this fall.

Well my Greenhouse autos are embarrassing to even post. But, I'm going to anyway just so others can learn what happens when you push your seedling to the point of the roots circling the pot. I'll stick with starting them a bit later directly in the pot they'll finish in. I still have an Auto purple going that needs a few days more. Thanks @ost. I show all my plants. I like newer growers to know no one is perfect. We all make mistakes and many of us are still learning.

@pipeline. I said I'll post the way I mainline my plants. This is the very first step of the process, at least the way I mainline my plants. I leave the rest of the branches and foliage for a few days to a week then I'll remove it and tie down the first "Y" in the mainline.
I just topped these two Junior Mint x MAC plants. They were at node 6 and 5 respectively prior to topping back to node 3. I top it just under the 4th node as I find the extra stem adds a lot of strength to the divisions.

Not from my experience. When using a weaker colloidal silver solution. Sometimes when I stop spraying it will push out some pistils again. Although, this is my first time reversing a CBG strain. So it could be a huge fail. This is essentially a hemp plant with less than .2 percent THC. I paid around $100 for three seeds and 2 never germinated. That is why I'm trying to reverse it.
My neighbors wife has lung cancer. I'm growing out the mother and will make RSO from it. He is growing out the two other clones I took for the same reason. We are hoping this will arrest the cancers progression and the possible future seeds will keep us in fresh plant matter.
Hey Tim, when you reverse a fem with the cs do you produce seed on the same plant? Or pollinate another?
Tks

Most of the time I use another plant. I have reversed one auto-flower on itself once. But, I only got 14 seeds from it. I like to produce 500-800 mature seeds from a 1 gallon potted plant or it's really not worth my time.

I have a cut from the sunset sherbet. Don't know if I just want more SS or carefully pollinate the others girls for some variety.

I've only reversed strains that I found had very good yield and a great high. When I make a cross I pick my male for structure and my female for her terpene profile and quality of her high. I'm not a breeder and I'm sure others may make different choices.

This is just an experiment this time. But if any are good, well then, there you are! Ja ja
