From what I've read you won't get high from it. I'm growing it for a woman that has lung cancer. I'm going to make hash capsules from it for her.
That's a cool idea!
Getting high isn't always my goal.
Honestly these days a nice mood shift is mostly what I'm after.
Not to say I don't enjoy getting blasted and playing video games it's just not my go to...

Plants are looking great, have some full bushes with lots of branches. Sorry to hear about all the rain. Hope some of them make it through alright. Could cut the more mature tops and let the rest of it ripen, of course. :smoke:

Glad you are able to help your friend! Its great to be able to help people out, it can be life saving for sure! Cannabis is therapeutic for a variety of conditions.

Where did you get the CBG Force seed? Have you ever seen the CBD #1 from Ace Seeds?

Thank you @pipeline. I think that most of them will pull through. CBG Force was from Dutch Passion seeds. I don't think they should have released it yet. It had a very poor germination rate. Three seeds and only one germinated. I noticed their testers both had poor germination rates listed in their reviews. So it wasn't anything I did. Three seeds with shipping was right around $100.00. So I would not recommend purchasing them. I grow CBD Critical Mass, it's a 1:1 strain of about 7-8% THC/CBD. I have not grown Aces seeds CBD #1.

I topped my #1 Junior mint x MAC for the second time today.

The yellow circle shows the 1rst node where I alternate the branches on the opposing leaders.

I also circled in red where I removed the 2nd node branches and leaves.

The black circled area shows how I top just below the 4th node. I like to push home the importance of that extra stem for added strength.

In about a week this will be transplanted into it's final 10 gallon pot. Where I will continue its training, topping once more to give me 10 tops. The two 1rst node branches act as a filler for the center of the plant.

You mean the lil extra stem you left when topping (red arrow)?
And how does that add extra strength? And to what/where...

When that stem division grows out those two leaves will be removed and the two new tops will be pulled out to form a "Y". That extra stem will add strength as the new stems grow around it forming a knuckle similar to what we get when super cropping. I've been mainlining most of my indoor plants for about 7 years now. I run a few tents perpetually. I also grow in living organic soil so my pots always have a plant in them. I harvest and replant the same pot on the same day. When we top too close to the node it creates a weak spot which has a tendency to break under the weight of heavy flower and or a heavy hand during training.

Edit: This shows the first node on the same plant and likely shows what I mean better than my explanation.

That is very cool and a great point of detail. For next season - many thanks!

I transplanted my G13 Haze in the back and my Acapulco Gold in the front yesterday. I'll let them settle in their new pots for a few days and then I'll continue on with topping and training. The Acapulco Gold plants are 4 days older than the G13 Haze.

Junior Mint x MAC went into my little 2x2 tent under my QB135 rspec fixture. I'll wait a few days for her to adjust to the different light. Then I'll top her for the third and final time and continue to train out the 8 outside branches and the two inside branches.
