You know when you eat figs you are eating insects, a wasp enters the fruit on the blunt end and dies inside while pollinating it.

Hmm didn’t know that one. I just had ant infused honey the other day. I wondered what was crunchy. Didn’t affect the taste luckily. Maybe even added some flavor. Hopefully that is what the wasps will do.

It’s cooling at the moment. Looks quite good aside from cracking. But that won’t change the taste. I’ll cut into it after a short cooling.

Also the Mrs is making fruit rolls with apples and Indian cling peaches. We tried using a gummy mold and it turned out ok. Not sure how it would work with thc oil.

The cake turned out great. Surprisingly heavy. Sweet, lightly figgy. I think I’ll use less sugar next time so I can taste more fig. Here it is flipped correctly.

had something at a friends house yesterday. i don't know what it is called, and i'm (STILL) waiting for her to text us the recipe, but it was like a soft Moon Pie but more flavorful! i'll post recipe when it gets here.
