I appreciate the full response. Just to be super clear, no, I do not care one teeny little bit about you or anyone else selling seeds. I'm glad there are still lots of smaller producers. My concern was purely about the origins of Sweet Tooth, and that it was not Barney's. Nothing more than that. I'm thinking I may have mis-read something in your first comments in the thread, so I'm going to go back and re-read all of this from the top. Reserving any further comments until I do that.
Oh nice, you should pop those. But yeah, I get all of that. I just didn't realize DJ was directly, and willingly involved in the cross himself.I still have quite a few sweettooth 3 seeds left over from beanhoarder.
I remember Back in the day he made tons of crosses with it.
He said:
o Spice of Life (SOL/Breeder Steve) made the original with DJ's Blueberry to create Sweet Tooth (ST1). The strain was then back crossed to the Grapefruit clone to create Sweet Tooth two (ST2) and once again to further bring out even more Grapefruit goodness creating Sweet Tooth 3 (ST3) or what could be called a Sweet Pink Grapefruit cubed or a BX3. Although ST3's not totally identical to the Grapefruit cutting, it's a very good proximity with all its yummy qualities and some examples are actually an improvement on the already excellent Sweet Pink Grapefruit cut.

i wish you guys had black walnut over there (the things are weeds here), i'd ask you if #1 is like the smell of black walnut husks when they're green and still on the tree... i think i know the smell you mean, only black walnuts and cannabis products things that do the grapefruit thing are the only two places i know of with the smell... but it isn't unlike the tomato greenery smell now that you mention it, that must be the same thing as i'm thinking of.This is my take on grapefruit cannabis smells - There are basically 2 elements to the grapefruit smell (which appear both separately and together in Lemon Thai.) there is
1. -a sharp/fruity/pithy smell which on its own is almost like the smell you get from rubbing against tomato plants.. this ST clone has just that element to it.
2 a citrus/lemon smell - not really present in this ST clone
