So interesting, thanks for sharing this info

I had always thought Sweet Tooth was a Canadian strain because of that Breeder Steve/SoL connection
Breeder Steve made it, others copied it. Whether through acquiring a clone and making their own version, or just releasing whatever combo they think will get "closest". It was a common game back then, and still is.

There’s a guy on instagram calling himself copycat genetics. What he does, is buying elite clones, s1 them and give it to the public hahahaha no morals but shitloads of money hahahaha

Barney's has been lying as long as I can remember. The Dutch take a different approach to business and cannabis ethics (no offense intended to you). I remember it as described above, though I would have thought they got their mitts on the #4 cut. They did the same thing with multiple strains. I think they learned business ethics from Arjan (kind of joking here, but only kind of). I mean, how many cups did they outright buy?

Yeah Derry is a bit of a twat, heard they are merging with Sensi

Hey VG nice grow. I ran Sweettooth#3 from a SOL breeder pack in my first ever indoor grow in 2001. I loved it, the smell blew me away. Your buds look spot on and your description too. Sugary light green buds with fuzzy orange hairs and a smell of sweetness but no exact defining character of smelling like something else.
I also ran serious AK47 and got a really indica leaning cherry medicine pheno. Those were the days, I didn’t know how lucky I was, but it did hook me.

Thanks, yes the sweetness is distinctive but hard to place for sure, certainly not a straight blueberry smell nor muffins/syrupy.
Here is a bud pic from the guy who gave me the clone. i have a couple more somewhere..

I got 100 seeds of Swt#3 direct from Steve when he was in Switzerland. Also 100 each of Shiskaberry#3 and Legends Ultimate Indica. That was a nice envelope to open !
I remember that lol the good old days. Sweet tooth 3 looked pretty nice but the high was weak af. Grew 2 litter bottle sized buds...lots of phenos rotted from the inside out. I found a couple decent plants nothing spectacular. made f2s and grew many out. I'd rather have just grown the spg clone instead

Sweet Tooth is not " powerful as all Hell " lol, must be different than SOL's or buddy has a really low tolerance
Yes i think the Barneys is different as are some of the others i'm sure, I thought the buds from this selected clone had respectable potency, not strong by today's standards but certainly not weak either... and the High is long lasting... It is more the balanced, happy, 'kind weed' quality of the high that makes it memorable imo, and the great taste.
