sup guys

I'm really digging the coco bed. It looks like I'm gonna get the same growth rate as the drippers and this was so cheap and easy to setup. Another good thing is my rez is totally clean. I still put the panty hose on the return line to be safe, but so far it's totally clean, and theres not much to clog anyway. It looks awesome when it floods, It kinda turns into a swamp. Got some shots of the flood.

Heres day3 of flower

Day17 of flower on the drippers

Seedyono, Neptune, Thanks guys. I think this is gonna work out nice:)

Gauis- Thanks man, I guess you can see how nuts I am about keeping things clean(; I didn't veg as long because It seems like with coco specific nutes and and automation I'm getting more stretch then I did last time which was what I was basing things on. Gonna see how this goes.

Blunted- I'm using the 1 inch rockwool cubes to clone in and that is coco in the dripper side. No worrys. As far as nutes are concerned I would recomend hygrozyme because It keeps things running smooth. I use it during the whole grow. A pk booster is good during flower...bigger buds.. who doesn't want that. I'm using awesome blossoms through the second week of flower and I might try it again at week 5. I don't know much about
the exact stuff about all of the nutes and when I just try and keep it simple.
There's a lotta guys on here that know alot about nutes so I would just check around:)

20, dude there's no time for fuckin around :)
I think I'm gonna be slapping together another one of these next week.
It seems like bm in small amounts from the start just produces freakish side braching. I don't think I'm gonna finish early. I would like to get a foliar schedule for the bm and pm and just skip the gravity. It would just be way too much work running it in the rez right now.
I started the pm foliar last week on the the first set of plants and I'm going at it again tommorow. I did 1ml/gallon last time now I'm gonna try 2

Peace

very clean and healthy ladies Dalton,

will definately be pulling up a seat for the remainder of this one as I have been curious about the coco beds, love the swamp effect the ebb n flow gives in that bed :)

Keep up the good work man :lurk:

Aba and FortyGrit -thanks alot guys< and welcome:)

20k- Sup dude,lol

1-the fittings are in the very front of the table, where it drops down, you know the american agritech tables. It works out perfectly because the mat goes right over them when tou wrap the edges.

2 the bed is roughly 4 and a 1/2 inches deep, I didn't fill all of the way to the top because I wanted to flood up and over the top.

3 The rez is 25 gallons, and it's a pain in the ass, I need a bigger rez. It takes all 25 gallons to get over the top ove the coco, So it's not draining fast enough to feed the pump and it gets loud when theres no water in the rez. So I think 40-50 gallons would be perfect and I wouldn't have to top off as much.

4. Dude don't forget this was your Great Idea :)

5. Your on ICMAG.com, everything you see happening now... is happening now

6. It's a place for grown up's to play with cool toys:)

Damn, looking good man. Those tables must get real heavy when they flood like that. I dont think my ikea tables could handle that. lol. You also layed out those mats very nicely. Mine dont look so nice and my girlfriend was pissed when i ruined all her good scissors cutting those mats, but then again i am always fuggin up those scissors lol :bat:

1) Yeah, I was wondering if they are obstructed at all by the mat, but I see not. I was thinking you would have to keep the coco away from the fittings, and leave a space between the coco bed walls and the walls of the tray, but I see not.
4) Oh yeah, but your the man who put it into effect
5) ICMag huh? Innnnteresting, I'll have to check it out:confused:lol....is happening now...is happening now....is happening now...
6) speaking of which, RC cars rock.

OK, that's enough of that, back to business

Yeah, I actually am not running Ebb&Flow like I would have liked, and was planning on for the slabs, cause of the whole rez issue. I was gonna try using the 70gal rez's,( like the black Grotek one I have(better then the American Agritech Rez, and cheaper) but I wouldn't be able to get the water very easily through my RO units, and would end up changing a rez every few days, which would suck balls. With that much nutrient though, you could prob double the time between rez changes.

Speaking of scissors, I have...I think 12 pairs of scissors, and 3 pairs of pruners...And they are all fucked up, except for one pair of really nice pruners.

Hey wassup guys

Im sorry to say that I'm losing my internet connection. Money is getting a little tight with my lovely new electric bill. Sorry to crap out mid grow on you guys. Just wanted to give you guys a little heads up, Security's still tight and I'm alright. I'm gonna keep snappin pics and I'll throw em up when I get online again. Here's today

Jimjay-Thanks , ya know what I read about your scissor woes somwhere else. I used the 4x8 matt and it's not as thick as the 4x4's. So my scissors
are still kicking..but yeah they just wind fucked at harvest time anyways:)
I hear ya about the weight of the table thats a good point. If I wasn't on the floor that could be an issue. I woke up one night to large bang and my room mates IKEA bed collapsed right out from under him. IKEA...lol

20k- Yeah dude my drippers require alot less water to run. I'm topping off daily now with the heat and it blows. I guess I could get away with not topping off but I wouldn't get a full flood. Good luck with your new setup.
It's gonna be nice to see when I get back. Between that, the Official humboldt county , and the outdoor grow. Youv'e got your work cut out for ya. Keep it coming MAn.

Alright Peace

If you've noticed, I'm gettin backed up, and not around too much anymore. That outdoor grow is 120miles away from my other grow and home. I've also got 3 midterms next week.

Grow's lookin good. It's really encouraging to see that flood and drain bed working so nicely. Those plants are in perfect health bro. Keep it up for sure:tup:

Hey wassup everybody
I/S,rkone,seedy,and gauis, thanks alot guys
I felt some serious moisture when I put my hand in the canopy today, so I dedided to do some trimming, I know it's a little late in the game, but I need to get some more air flowing in there. They are really starting to blow up, I couldn't be happier, I think I'm looking at double what I had last time:)

Here's some shots of day 39.

I/S- Sorry bro, ran out of money to do the side by side nute test, but after reading the instructions on the House and Garden and seeing the IONIC at work. I think I already made my decision. You can't beat a cheap one part that doesn't need anything added to it. I haven't flushed at all on either side
the bed or the drippers and everything is staying pretty solid PH and EC wise. So I'm sticking with what works. I pretty much ran out of most of my additives and IONIC has been doing a good job on it's own. I have to highly recommend it.

Little update..good and bad
heres the good:
day 41

day 26

The bad news is half of my clones for the next table bit the dust
:badday: So my 2lb. every 20 perpetual is completely off now.
I took more then I needed so I still have 35 of them rooted, so I might try
topping them early and using bushmaster with a 2 week veg, Once again my low ceilings are getting me, I can't veg long at all because the 1000's will bleach the canopy. Anyone have any suggestions?
To top it all off I spent 2 hours making bubble hash with the popcorn and leaves I trimmed the other day and I don't even think I got a gram
These girls better hurry up and ripen :joint:
