maybs, prolly wouldnt let it out. right now i just have stuff planned like: the white etc
i also got a few males im toying around with but im keeping those on the low low..

also,
heres what a very knowledgeable homie had to say, he has tha cannabis PHD lol

" now this is some old school herb. She smells like our Pure Thai and Old scholl hawaiian mixed together with a old school skunk1 odor. But it's definitely of the oold school sativa haze/thai/hawaiian types..."

but its a true 7 weeker, makes the room smell like the bud when smoked. could prolly pull at 45 days no prob. super noidy sativa stone. not a rks by anymeans but a damn fine specimen.

it smells like straight skunky hash to me, but ive gotten everything from shoe polish to astringent smells to apples.. when chopping it down it gives me a physical headache

Is that the 91rks, does smell follow into cure as well or just growing?

My keeper holds it through cure

Right on, any pictures kicking around? Would love too see it.
The NL#2 is more of stocky open bud structured plant like the sensi seeds or Dutch Passion versions or is your cut different?

Also for anyone that is looking for a very pungent skunk smell and resin to match, Devil (afghan skunk x afghan) from MNS has the odd pheno with very skinny leaves that is pure skunk in aroma and rubbing the stem will almost glue your fingers together.

Secondly RKS x DC from cannacopia is very rotting death skunk with a kushy skunk DC taste that is an amazing outdoor plant as well.

Seems the afghan dominant skunks like super skunk have the more pure skunk aromas? correct me if I'm wrong.

not interested in a odd pheno from a variety...and I've tried 'em all..........sure the DC exhibits skanky traits as well as many indicas from the day......but not the real deal....tended the original NL#2 with great success outdoors, but surely not RKS.........

the true RKS for myself was RANK from sprout to cure ....and truebreeding.......no having to FIND a pheno or searching thru wannabe varieties.........grew as a squat sativa that gave up lime green spongy golf balls that put one in a sweat induced ride that ended with a punch...........

still on the hunt.....

ganj on................

If the skunk trait has apparently been bred out then wouldn't you have to do some pheno hunting? Apparently it's quite difficult to find in IBL form.Hopefully someone finds something soon.. Do we know RKS wasn't super skunk or some other skunk hybrid?

I started a thread here a while back and Sam Skunkman said the skunk odor was bred out before skunk made it to A-dam, so it wasn't skunk #1 that smelled like skunk, could be another strain unless its a pre amsterdam american skunk.

If you go thru the oldest seed catalogs Skunk #1 was always described as a sweet smelling strain.

I've pretty much given up on trying to find a true skunk plant myself.

After wondering what you guys are talking about I read the first 30 sites of this thread and skipped to the last 20 afterwards.
All those personal stories were an amazing read.
I had also come across some real stink weed in my 10 years history as a stoner. the one or another car ride with my stash was a real thrill and I always had to change my chlothes after smoking or even just carry it. I was an occasional smoker back then, so it was just weed for me, no higher sense.

so after reading your stories and similar memories from past times, I also decided to go on a hunt.

If you are still looking for that compact, hairless, lime green bud, I might hold something of interest. actually this is an Exodus Cheese hybrid too.

Rosa F1: (Exodus Cheese x Cranberry Haze)

Cranberry Haze: (Colombian Gold/Oldtimer Haze x PCK)

Its pretty strong on the odor side, though the smell is more PCK dominated, berry/sour

a few posts earlier i saw this picture

authentic heirloom 86' skunk 1

imho that one looks very similar to some F2 phenos i got.
So I would say this line is worth a deeper look into it.

I also run a purple haze cut I purchased 4 fun. Its in FW1 so i can't tell much so far, but it has pure skunk growth.
there we have it again the name game^^
there is so much bullshit sold on any name it doesn't deserve, thats why i occasionally buy clones with such sounding names to proof the fraud.

Anyway, tell me this isn't skunk vigor? can't see any haze haha

also got a NL x Skunk cut from this shop. but he couldn't give me any further information other than its a private cross, so it's basically NL#? x SK#? but we will look into it anyway.

I don't think everyone realizes this, There are plenty of strains out there that you can smell before its even in the house. Seems to me the early afghans and early affy hybrids where the skunky plants.

Hmong that cranberry cheesecake looks very unique! would love to see what further generations have in store.

thank you

I hope to get some of this buds in the F2 again. of course a majority of plants looks like the F1 so far. i have one in week 3 though thats to early to tell anything. I got around 5 Gramms of seeds out of the F1, from different parents so enough material to work with. I will need it, because one of the males i used hermed like bad in late flowering after i already pollinted. also there was some passive pollination because of bad filtering/isolation of males so thats why i ended up with that many seeds.

I could remake the original F1 cross with my stock, since I also hold the Cheese Clone. but only god knows what the outcome will be like, because it won't be the same parents used originally.

For RKS purpose a cross with the cheese and a preferably green F2 indica male might be an idea. imho less purple/pink means less berry/fruity. the green F1 phenos were definately spicier.

When I was growing up in klamath falls oregon in the mid 80's as a young teen 95% of the weed coming through was the moldy seedy mexican brick weed...but every once in a while some skunk would roll through and it would be a holiday!!! 25$ for about a quater oz and then about three days later you would come to when the bag ran out...I ran into some kids when I was 15ish brothers just moved there from north cali...they had a pet racoon and their hippie parents allowed them to puff...they had skunk and real purple kush...took 2 gravity bong hits first one sticky stinky skunk the next one purple kush....I past out before I even exhaled

A year or two later I was up in Idaho and in search of super cron drove many hours and at the time paid a milliondollars ($50) for the very first 3.5g bag I ever heard of an 1/8th...ending up in onion creek washington we scored some of the stinkiest stickiest(ALMOST TEARING THE BAG WHEN PULLING IT OUT TO SMOKE and sticking to a fridge when flung across the room to try and get it off the fingers)

This is a west coast thing TX might have got some too but if its out there in seed form its gonna be an old timer up in the mountains of cali oregon or washington in a box in a closet just waiting to be found by a young relative hopefully labeled and cataloged correctly to stand the test of time

I know how greedy weed people are.of the stinky stinky and no way shape or form would someone breed out those genetics...NO WAY!!!!

I was reading a post on here wher someone found a 76 maui in some old boxes...grew it out and its the shit so ya its out there for sure I cant wait to see the thread of (look whst I found in my uncles closet)

Also the original old school west coast big bud is suposed to be a super skunky bitch as the others (bc, the dam) are geared for the sweetness....jst like the skunk thing we are talking about...if I remember all the hubub the west coast skunk was used to create big bud but this is just rumors on my part but Ive heard it quite a bit
