Bushy do you remember a strain from South oz called Red Devil? It was an old Sensi super skunk x nl that reeked the house out every time. Big red skunk buds that smelt so strong it was almost impossible to contain,I believe this is very similar to what the RKS is. The clone is very old and herms in tight rooms so it's faded here. Looks exactly like the shoreline clone you see on the boards occasionally

Hey KITCHA, I was away from the scene for most of the nineties and early 2000s, so I went from Buddha Thai, Mullum Madness and Mango Heads in the late 80s to Buddha Thai x Skunk, Mullum Madnes x WW, and Mango Haze 20 years later:laughing: Anyway I somehow missed the advent of hydro and the influx of Dutch/American indicas, as well as the decriminalisation of pot in South Oz, but I caught the ass end of the trend crossed into the old sativas I used to know. Anyway I'm not familiar with that cut (it sounds great), but I have heard how powerful and coveted those Superskunks of Nevil's were. The RKS Skunk from Ortega certainly stank, but the high seemed rather too uplifting for the hydro age:biggrin:

without a doubt the SHORELINE is a true RKS skunk pheno. no debating it.

theres S1 beans of the Original sk1 , but its not roadkill like were all searching for... a LOT of skunks were remade since 80's so it could have been a pheno from god who knows where , i "think" Trinity or Shoreline and few others could be the original roadkill phenos
originals were mostly orangeish slight spicy with hints of sulphur skunk smells..

I confess ... I have thought about putting Cannabis in a bag with a dead skunk.

But I've never done it.

If people want the skunk smell, should we give them the skunk smell ?

first RKS I encountered was in 70's..................have yet to see it back around......and how slow was I not to keep it around...more like young age... thinking life wouldn't change.......anyway very consistent grower from seed........and reeked from sprout through cure.............branched like a sativa on a squat indica frame..........threw lime green golf balls of spongy density ........not only did she reek from here to heaven, but the high was a blast off of a sweat induced rocket ride that ended in a slam..........if you ever have hiked in Big Sur region or Santa cruz mtn's along creeks a small plant grows that when stepped on emits an extreme skanky sweet odor and always put me in the flashback mode....

nothin' like it since...........sure with the indica invasion came many great skunky lines of and the beginning of the ongoing destruction via polyhybridization, but all dull in comparison to the ride that original gal gave us.............

I personally feel it was from the original X's of true parental stock that was commonplace in the Santa Cruz mtn's at the time..............

ganj on...............
