When I was growing up in klamath falls oregon in the mid 80's as a young teen 95% of the weed coming through was the moldy seedy mexican brick weed...but every once in a while some skunk would roll through and it would be a holiday!!! 25$ for about a quater oz and then about three days later you would come to when the bag ran out...I ran into some kids when I was 15ish brothers just moved there from north cali...they had a pet racoon and their hippie parents allowed them to puff...they had skunk and real purple kush...took 2 gravity bong hits first one sticky stinky skunk the next one purple kush....I past out before I even exhaled

A year or two later I was up in Idaho and in search of super cron drove many hours and at the time paid a milliondollars ($50) for the very first 3.5g bag I ever heard of an 1/8th...ending up in onion creek washington we scored some of the stinkiest stickiest(ALMOST TEARING THE BAG WHEN PULLING IT OUT TO SMOKE and sticking to a fridge when flung across the room to try and get it off the fingers)

This is a west coast thing TX might have got some too but if its out there in seed form its gonna be an old timer up in the mountains of cali oregon or washington in a box in a closet just waiting to be found by a young relative hopefully labeled and cataloged correctly to stand the test of time

I know how greedy weed people are.of the stinky stinky and no way shape or form would someone breed out those genetics...NO WAY!!!!

WELL I DID, MY FOCUS WAS NOT MONEY, IT WAS A BETTER HIGH, THE SWEETER SKUNK #1 IS MY PREFERENCE. FUCK MONEY AND THE GREED FOR MONEY, IT HAS NEVER MOTIVATED ME.
I LIKE THE MORE UP HIGH, AND SWEETER TASTE PLAIN AND SIMPLE. WHY NO ONE ELSE KEPT THE SKUNKY SKUNK#1 AROUND I CAN NOT SAY. I DID NOT LIKE SKUNKY SKUNK#1, I WAS PREFERRING HAZE AT THE TIME, TO ME SMOKING SKUNKY SKUNK #1 JUST BROUGHT ME DOWN FROM THE HAZE, NO JOKING, WHY DO IT?
-SamS

I was reading a post on here wher someone found a 76 maui in some old boxes...grew it out and its the shit so ya its out there for sure I cant wait to see the thread of (look whst I found in my uncles closet)

GARLIC !!!

the only thing i found that was worth keeping was a plastic bag of seeds labeled REAL SKUNK.. that i got from my fathers best friend.. must be like 100 seeds.. but i popped 10. and found a nice big giant cola plant.. that smells like skunk and garlic.

Skunk & Garlic smell, - The garlic skunk smell im very keen to hear about here, simply labled Real skunk ] - do you no where these seeds come from or origionated ?

Im having trouble finding a old clone where I live with the garlic flavour and honey similar to the original - Shiva shanti 1 and currently doing some homework on what else I can possibly find these days with anything garlic or honey in it,

p/m me if you've time or here is okay yes. - thanks ' Bambi.........

I'm not in search of a freak pheno BT .........or a wannabe variety masking as the true roadkill...............been tending outdoors for thirty eight seasons and know the real deal..............Sam has made it clear he is not greedy and did not prefer the roadkill line so he selected for the sweety/high...............his preference......old news.........but to my knowledge this thread is about the ROADKILL............so all those who can only shiat on the idea or say why they didn't carry on can go suc a skunks sack..............too many folks are salivating for the real deal and could care less about the 1000 varieties of sweet hay that exsists today ................

I have worked through Mendo Joe's line of pre-Sk#1 thanks to ohsogreen.....have worked a early '80s SK#1 bx'ed onto the Cheese cut thanks to Dman......along with most other potential combos, but to no avail..................I like the trinity cut, but it is afghan related and not what I'm looking for......

still searching .............

Does skunk not have afghan in it?

Why use such vulgar language when all myself and others are trying to offer people an alternative to a seemingly impossible quest? I was not shitting on the idea of RKS, nor was anyone else and am sorry you interpreted it that way. I certainly do not mean to say RKS doesn't exist lol, Most people can attest that it does indeed.

How do we know one persons interpretation or idea of the roadkill is not different from anothers? Let alone the exact genetics of roadkill.

no BT..... the roadkill I tended in Corralitos, Cali had very little if any afghan in her.........late 70's early 80's.....more sat orgin.......and very TRUEbreeding onionman......

vulgar language....cmon.......you in the kiddie pool or what...............surely ones interpretation vs another is valid and unknown orgins...?....I have an idea of the makeup of the RKS I'm after and it would hail from original parental lines .......could I recreate....doubtful.......but my hope is for someone who kept the seed line going...............

Trinity cut I tended was old school afghan, not very dense flowers of sticky/rank like roadkill.......typical of first generation afghans that invaded the state at the time.................I also tended "The Mother" summer of '80 which came from the Ozarks and was prolly the finest example of a true afghan as I've had the pleasure of...and reeked....seeds very large and light tan in color.............and truebreeding for most traits....unadulterated parental stock.............

I lived and made seeds in Freedom, pretty close to you I could walk. Lots of growers in the Central Coast had Skunk #1 the older skunky one, pretty much every town from the Bay Area and a little north, to Big Sur.
I was there then. Used to shop at the 5 mile house, because the owner grew my Skunk#1, and they had incredible asparagus, that melted in your mouth, and all kinds of great veggies from the area.
I also shopped at the Corralitos Market and Sausage Company that made their own bacon and my wife's fave Old Style Kobasica.

Mt.Nectar Obviously you did not look at pics (in profile albums). And you do not know the difference between sk1 and the road kill pheno.

the "best" roadkill i ever encountered was hybridized by bikers for indoor production.

"donkey dick" was one of its nick names given from the olkd timers. everyone else just called it skunk, skunk weed, skunk bud. massive colas. prefered hydro. untopped 1 pl/sq/ft
