Roadkill Skunk doesn't exist. The name was just made up to describe a smell, so how could any of you look for the strain?

It seems that any strain with a really pungent pheno could be RKS.

Endless search with no end. Hilarious.

1. A skunky pheno skunk does not exist?

3. I'd be satisfied just to find a strain that has an overwhelming skunk smell...not just a undertone.

4. Endless search? doubtful. Time2Unite, made a good point, try looking for the traits in males.

Chem dog is pretty close but it's not as overwhelming

keep a positive attitude...if you could get a wiff of this plant you would want some too...

Top Flite... that brand brings me more than a decade back in time... when I used to gather golf balls found around golf courses in Mexico and sell them in bulk for "cheap" (still was a pretty good deal for me) to the rich "gringos" (no offense to any US citizens, that's just how we called them).

It's in landrace afghan for sure. Maybe pre 2002 skunk#1? cannot comment on Sensi skunk, WWonder, orange bud or Nr Nice Shit or Devil.

Seen white widow that had a hint of it but it was more hashy/spicey overall.

OH yeah DMT I remember that 1999 adam bud, there where some some very close think that orange bud was the closest to the RKS , or the daddy chronic as I ike to call it but nothing has compared to that taste , I feel like we are hunting a bulletproof Unicorn , If anyone can find a RKS I got my bets on the MEDMAN, he always has strains.

Hm I red in this topic that Sam still has some of his old stock but he isn`t releasing it.

I know he is busy and he maybe doesn`t have the time to select bred and release it.
Then maybe he should just release what he has and let people find the RKS phenos.
I`m mean look at this topic 77 pages O_O

The RKS has so many fans that I feеl Sam is obligated to release it.
He will bring joy to so many old timers, and new growers who will be happy to grow this famous strain.

wow, just finished reading/browsing this whole tread. lots of info here, i love it. and sam, thank you for all your work.

now, i'm just about to harvest a seedsman skunk 1 clone from a friend, and this is a pretty good representetive of rks. i took a small branch off the other night and holy chit, when i smelled it, i just about puked! it smells like the last time my dog got sprayed!!! alomst a burning sensation in your nose. i let my buddy take a good wiff without warning him, and he gave me a "wtf" look and said it reminded him of a dead skunk in a hot garbage can with rotting fruit in it. he said that this was closest thing he's seen to the old school we use to get back in the 90's. i'm hoping the taste and high are what im looking for, and if so i'll be keeping this girl in the rotation for sure.

kindda...it's out there though...problem is, if you find it, you have to notice you have it before you flower it...so one can prepare to self pollinate or else it's not gonna hold up.

in dreams this smoker would plant as many indica beans as possible and find the stinkiest ones in veg and focus my attention on the males. If this smoker comes into these beans...will make sure this community has access to them...

I have heard this as well...personally I don't think he is obligated to release anything....dude has contributed so much and many many many have stolen his work and released it as their own....that being said I don't think Sam the Skunkman created the RKS....holy mary jane figured that out long ago....

Sam, wouldn't mind you in the discussion tho man.

Find some a grip of mixed indica beans....
there is a about 50 in muh hand but should probably do about 200 safely

Germinate..
grow and find the stinkiest ones in veg...now take those and either self pollinate or cross with stinkiest males

...


Now take at least 20 or so of these new S1s and give to this thread to test...easy...

Yes exactly... A very pungent sweet piney odor. The leaf stems turn purple. These pics were taken at day 88, right before chop. They are mostly sativa, Im pretty sure of that.

very nice, that girl will probably get extra stoney with 88 days. They look real nice and plump, I love how these short sativas fill out so nicely indoors...


under the sun the flavor is there but they don't quite fill out as fat and the calyx do not mature to full ripeness (unless they have full sun good portion of the day).. as shown below..great smell and nice smoke though...love these little sativas..good morning smoke, not to over powering and can actually gain some of that motavation as we say

I figure this could be one worth checking out. It's not like Neville puts his name on
too many plants. So I think it could be what we are looking for? At least I will look
at it soon this fall. Maybe the only thing is that the Haze will impart a less
odorous plant, but maybe a higher type of buzz. Might be a good plant
to cross with. Maybe just a touch more of skunk or
afghani would make it stinky poo.
