Some of what id call the best "skunk" has been from very old stock inbred stock that was originally pepery tasting panama/mex sativa that was northernized and inbred for about 30 + yrs. The peppery nature changes and acclimates to the northern climate and instead of taking on sweet notes like most indicas will , it becomes "skunky" ... I have one of these northernized landrace strains my friends dad calls "acopulco cat piss" .... smells just like a dead skunk... haha damn swamp cabbage

You did a selfing of Girl Scout Cookies cuts I think and then found parental stock and crossed to make a new form? or your own form? of GSC. Will you do this to the BC Skunk cut you have? Could you? If you can't how come? if you can why dont you?

That's been my thoughts all along. I believe there is now a RKS # 1,2 & 3 but no roadkill phenos found yet ? If the line is still in testing and needs more work why release it ? If the testers didn't give good data why not test it yourself before release, ya know LOL

You should check out the pine skunk or RKS x Chem, there are good strong hints of skunk in those lines. People get confused with the skunk scent... it's more pervasive when it flows through bags. The thing is, when you get the bud right up under your nose, other scents predominate and the skunk is hard to identify.

I could release the S1 of the RKS, but I probably won't because there is something else in this plant I have that is unique and I've not found anywhere else. Making an inbred line only re-enforces the traits of interest, making it easier for someone else to grab- if they figure out what it is that is so useful. In this expanding legal market, this line is worth something special, so I'm not going to simply give the hard work that went into it away. Likely this one will remain as proprietary in-house use. More skunky hybrids like the pine-skunk and RKS X Chem will come in the long run, but developing that particular line in pure form for market isn't something currently at the top of my list.
