i think anyone who has smoked real RKS skunk is a fan, cause it's jus soooo damn tasty!

to me, RKS is the essence of good cannabis.. You smell it, and you know, you just know you're in for a treat.

RKS IMHO smells like what good high grade cannabis should smell like. Before I grew, I literally graded bud like this.. Skunk, and all else was mids.. I have developed an apreciation for other strains since, like the Kushes, 'ghanis, Deisels, but nothing makes me salivate like a true ROAD KILL SKUNK... nothing..

Honestly, I would smoke RKS if it had 0% THC, I kid you not.



Good on ya FIREGOD, I can't wait to see some people growing out the 'FIRE Skunk' ! I hope it's everything we've been looking for and more

this is soooo cool!
i never thought how special this herb is! i knew it was damn good but i was dazzled with the pics in hightimes and went for the jugular when i was collecting strains!

i grew everything
nl's ,hazes,blueberry , grapefruits, thai ,romulan, cali orange . skunk #1, master kush , humboldt green , juicy fruit . black domina , g13 , hashplant , bluethai , swazi , durban, widow , jack h , rhino , hawaiin sativa , hawx iss.
gt-thai, mikado , ak-47 , bubblegum . superskunk, shiva and probable a few i am forgetting ???

its funny that one of the best herbs ive had came from deadheads !

How about "rabid roadkill skunk" ?
Dude your timeline fits for me... It was around 1990 when the "roadkill" became increasingly harder and harder to find in southern california.
Funny thing, in the 60's "skunk" or "skunky" meant something that tasted so bad no-one wanted to smoke it... Up until the 80's this pretty much held true. Skunk was another name for bunk.
Then came the roadkill... And It's so hard to quit smoking "skunk" when it's real deal..
Smoke em if ya got em until the baggie runs dry...I can't put the stuff away... It's too hard to find a place where you can't smell it! L.O.L.
Remeber how the baggies the skunk came in, ended up covered with sticky resin glands. If you left a baggie in your pocket too much, the buds would develop little "icebergs" or "sheets" of crystal. The whole side of the bud would look like it was plastic coated or something...
You could scrape thc off of the baggies with a razorblade. L.O.L.
True roadkill skunk taught me the reasons we use jars..
I might have something you'll wanna trade for, that would also free up some of my time and focus for other things.....
Of course I'll have to respect your wishes for her..If i make my own version I can do what I want with her, share at will with whoever i will, sell a few if i need propane or ferts... (hardcore survival mode here- I think it's time to live a little better and have resources nessessary to upgrade when needed- a little milk and propane at times can be such a godsend around here... Finally found work that i liked up here ,and after 6 months or so I was diagnosed with cancer. I started treatment- and had to quit that because of tickets and registration issues- .)
anyways im still thinkin which way I wanna go with the RK.
I believe HT skunk is also the "real deal" roadkill.... Haven't tested smoke or plants or beans though.....But as far as someone wanting to buy that's an option that's plausible.
I never bought or sold a seed in my life....YET.
Washington state had another one real close to RKS and they called it KGB or "killa green bud"
wasn't it also just called "the kind"?

you know,,, ive grown some stinky shit over time,,,, ak-47 comes to mind & my clones turned out smellin like kerosene fuel / hashy skunky !

there were many others to especially a romulan mikado cross i grew out had a very spicy/piney smell with citrus overtones and that smelled super!!

***********one that i miss that i last seen around the time i lost contact with the roadkill skunk was this very spicy sativa,,,, i didnt know what it was but the flowers were long and were a Bright olive green with blazing bright red hairs , looked orange in the sack but not dense orange-bud,,,, way sativa!!! smelled like allspice and tasted spicy just like it smelled ! when you blew it out the room smelled like a spce factory!!!!!! PLEASE HELP "ME" REUNITE WITH THIS !!!! ANY THOUGHTS???
THE BRACTS WERE LARGE WITH A DUSTY APPEARANCE FROM THE SMALLISH TIGHTLY PACKED TRICHS... THE BUDS WERE SPEAR SHAPED WITH A FLUFFY STRUCTURE,,, WHERE YOU COULD PICK OFF SINGLE FLOWERS TO PUT IN THE BOWL!
this bud was seeded and slightly compressed but not bad at all!
i lost these seeds and at the time.... i wasnt aware that some beans were harder to germ and needed heat ,,,,
PLEASE?????? I SCORED IT FOR ABOUT 6 MONTHS THEN NOTHING.......

The sativa you describe sounds very much like an "indian" sativa...
They are reputedly very spicy smelling, among the other things you describe....
I'm currently smoking one of my fav local sativa strains. Which smells like "a whorehouse on fire" very spicy.... Mmmnnn.

I rememeber the RKS!!!!!!!!!!! From the mid 80s to early 91 or 92 it was all around my area. It stuck to both sides of the bag just being in your pocket, you would get on the bus and everyone at the back of the bus knew you had skunk in your pocket. God I miss that weed. I knoew quite a few peeps who grew it but they all moved on to other things.

i got kali mist but never grew it out yet!
i really miss that spice !!! i think it was either indian or a mex homegrown???
it was compressed but not like brickweed... more fluffy sparse buds,,,, dark plump seeds....i was on the flyong dutchman forum and one guy has a thaitanic that looks similar???? but my buds were olive green with smaller trichs,,, not yellowgreen.... the hairs were spot on tho!
