My cute little clone bit the dust. It was a valuable learning tool though. I never had tried to get a clone that tiny working. I still believe it possible, but I learned a lot from this about cloning in general. It was a bagseed strain so I'm not crying rivers or anything.
Seems that with reveg, certain environment and feedings encourage the flip. Rooting a cutting on top of that can be a pain, but it's definitely possible. Humidity helps both cloning and reveg, but stem rot and mold are definite threats. The healthier the plant at the start, the better. My cutting was poisoned from bad silicone from the start, then I think it had an air pocket somewhere in the lower regions of the stem, which I think rotted it out, causing it a surprised death out of the blue. It had plenty of roots, it just sorta gave up.
