"Skunk" weed in the 70s was a term for several aromatic weed varieties, like people might use "dank" to describe heavy indica stone weed. Slang basically. As the aromatic varieties slowly disappeared through bad breeding practices, people missed it. Then someone decided to capitalize on it by creating a mythology that it was one particular strain... and they had it. Why someone isnt trying to capitalize on "Dank#1" is beyond me.

I've been meaning to share recently that 2 of my nieghbors , one who is passionate about pot and the other can't stand it both said that the skunky smell really came on the scene when people started to grow bag seed from colombian and mexican indoors and greenhouses in canada.

That that's all there was in manitoba back then. With some rando thai here and there.

So are you selling real road kill seeds yet? Is it still in the works or what's the deal?
Hey dime

All the crosses I've made from 2020/2023/2024 are available from the loud skunk project.

Still need to update the 2024 availability

I have 2 seed batches of skunk seeds, unintentional, just turned out that way,one is skunky from the start to finish, the other during flowering, not road kill though but noticible,I could smell it 100 feet away this year outside near the end of the cycle. A jar will tame it but a bag won't.

Yeha they're hybrids though but come real close to finishing in S Ont,some deep chunk in it. I took them down 2nd week oct and I ditched one due to some mold in a few flowers
Nice

I've had more then a few people over the decades recommend deep chunk as a pre soviet afghani to work worth. Sadley I've never to my knowledge grown her pure.

How's her skunk factor?

I haven't grown DC by itself, it was richard williams back to the congo and I had a red congo clone i crossed with it. I don't think DC would do well in my area because of the constant rain we get.

Vagpuncher gave me some bc Roadkill seeds from cannacopia circa 2010 to test and work with

At least to their credit it was a more sour skunk but looked and acted like an old sk1. No evidence in the plants of a dense smaller adfghanica in the cross. They were too big and lanky so they got the chop from my list of to dos

The original sk#1 was quite skunky and powerful,it was popular here and plentiful then it was gone,I'm sure if one went through enough sk#1 seeds it's in there.
