Gotta give a massive big ups to the man @OleReynard for helping out with this project

I've been doing my best to get them from landrace warden but they all sold out really fast.

Rey really came thru at the right time.

Burnt rubber lime balkhi for my landrace afghanicas

Alright. Missed the first of April becuase the new moon and eclipse being so close.

I've planted by the moon since the 90s so why change what works.

One tray is planted. Have a few more afghanicas and maybe some more sativas to prep for as I really had to lic and choose based on plant counts.

Whatever I'm growing will be based on pics over what I write. Got alot going on with the veggie garden, the homestead and the skunk project so if and when I make some mistakes feel free to point them out.

Narco gold and the 2 blue packs are north and Central uganda (for another thread)

Tay Tay take off

The Mexican landraces arw really popping off

I added some more light to quell any potential dampening off / seed stretch. Debating firing up a mh 315 for good measure

We used to get what was always just called BC skunk out here in the east. It was always the most pungent and smelled legit like skunk spray/road kill skunk. I would pay good dollars for a cut of that these days. Memories, are pouring out my mind…..I have to get into those loud project packs you sent me soon.

All the old guys on my island and elsewhere agree that that skunk was everywhere in bc by 74/75 😀 right after Hawaiian import vanished

Shit from Mr Nice Seeds is supposed to have a RKS phneotype. I only had strawberry ones sadly. (I had 8 females)
I finally bought some shit, devil and nordle after decades of apprehension lol appreciate the reminder 😀

Nothing much to post. Other then these 2 Trays really Reek. The seedlings made their way outside and transitioned with ease to the sun.
- sprout seeds inside under t5 or led strip light with heat mats
- move to hid so they grow 4 nodes
- move to greenhouse and cover with double layer of white garden cover cloth
- remove cloth after a week or 2 on a cloudy day
- move oustisde the greenhouse on a cloudy day

Never have to worry about sun stroke ever again

After a 50 50 mix of coco and topsoil and just tap water

They got a dose of the transplant juice and really blew up

Time to get organized soon. Their bed is built and primed. These things are reeking up the garden

There are 2 more waves 2 weeks behind each

After almost 2 months they need some pure sun

This wave in the poly allows them to get a nice dose of evening sun before a long night.

There are some real reekers in here. You can smell the greenhouse from every corner of the permaculture garden

Perfect day / time to finally plant the skunk run.

Got some Mexicans, colombians, Peruvians, presoviet ghanis and a bunch of "skunky" seeds

Dropped 3 bc blueberries in the mix. They don't need the black out. But may get it anyway. See what happens

Expecting a nice stretch of wetter weather. June 1 had always been my go to outdoor date ironically

i always love coco too, even when it was trash back in the day.

this skunk round has only reveived tap water 50 50 coco topsoil and maybe 1 or 2 splashes of my transplant juice

Permaculture has got me really busy. I also slacked off and lost a whole tray of unique and rare strains plus some gifts I've recieved this year

But, at least I have what I have, med-man method for the win

Blueberry
Golden tiger
Pure peru
A grip of different skunks
Acapulco gold
Guererros
1 african male I need to kill

I threw down a bunch of tiny williams wonder to rock too. See what's happens.

They are responding well to the black out and extra water iver been giving them

The whole massive garden reeks like dead skunks. I feel like this is the most skunky grow yet as I've covered alot of ground the last 3 years distilling genetics

Been 2 weeks since the full moon solstice. Most males are showing. Alot of fems too

There's only 1 thing that the light dep tarp that's been detrimental: the pill bugs love the moisture, dark and heat inside when they are covered every eve

The pill bugs have done a serious number on a few plants, what else is interesting is they don't touch the Mexicans, the equitorials or the south Indians. 🤔

Finally after 2 weeks all the true males have shown and finally got a pure peru male.

I'm keeping a beast corinto male too for micro pollination.

Males are generally bigger, greener and more vigorous (aka the best lookers to start) and usually my fave plants before flowers show

All the colombians, and Mexicans look and smell very similar. Lime, skunk, pungent. Some have a sour fermented fruit bottom lingering if you can pick it out

Wished I had more space and time to pollinate with the guerreros.
