If anyone else is having black out bug issues I have been housing them down with a heavy mist before covering them knocking down pill bug populations by 90% earwigs too which I'm not sure harm the plants much

I need to share that one of,if not, overall the nicest plant in my loud skunk project this year goes to Arturo.

it's only half way done or more but it's structure, soon to be yield and stacked branches make this one a keeper in just 4 seeds cracked.

even though it won't graduate as a skunker it has and extrmely pungent sweet nose of dutch black liquorice.

this beauty is a heirloom hindu kush x kerela (hindu dom pheno) and I can imagine how she will smell and swell by the end of the month

I've sourced an grown alot of landraces and heirlooms in over 3 decades and as far as uniqueness, hybrids and knowledge sharing swami organic seeds is up there with the best

support legacy legends as their knowledge and work is priceless in an era of imitators and knock offs

Nice but the problem is no one can smell roadkill through pics, have you found what you consider really acrid skunk that breeds true? I'm sure you would sell out very quickly if you said you offer them.

Hey dime

There are, at this moment, 3 skunk plants, Roadkill types. These are hybrids. I mean straight skunk cabbage

Bagged and tagged is key.

There's also a few landraces that imvho if they cross with a p-saf(kabul) I have if they turn out 50 50 of each parent will be road-kill skunks.

I'm basically 25% to 50% to the finish with light dep. Then a dry sweat cure needs to happen.

in my notes I know what crosses I've made to make Sam's original 81 skunk #1 and the 75 skunk bud. Which with all his shannagans and bs is some truth to it.

I've grown and bred enough crosses now that next year I should be getting some closure

I had almost 200 plants last year and have about 33 this year. So progress is being made

These threads are for quality assurance and record keeping 👌 chances are when the time comes I will be leveraging all this work over the decades to cut a contract with the highest bidding licensed producer. Just being honest

The world has changed dramatically. Esp in canada. Meaning my strategy also has to with it

If any legit company in canada or Europe is going to chop up a mutli million dollar deal best beleive they won't be cutting a check on my word.

I don't really think hunting since 95 is short work lol

But this is my 3rd season dedicating all my time and energy to the project

The harder the battle, the skunkier the victory lol

Appreciate the kind words

If I wasn't whirlwind busy since 2007 I can conclude this work would have been done.

Now that I'm back in the mecca of old skunks and hashplants it's made life a bit easier

I had some nice work I released as testers to icmag in 2012. Then a limited release on attitude. There was some really nice nose burners in there. But they were unstable and needed work.

Next year i will only have 1 male. Based on my notes.

This year was about testing my hybdrids from last year and seeds I've been gifted and some more landraces and preserving the peruvian

I know exactly where I'm heading (at this point) 99%

I think it takes imagination, immense time, complete dedication and thinking out of the box to be a real breeder. Look at Burbank and the strange plants he made. Crossing tobacco with petunia, stoneless plum, spineless cactus which took him over 20 years, scented lillies, pomato. That guy must have lived and breathed plants.

I think it takes way over 20 generations to make an ibl, that's very time consuming and a large selection to begin with and you have some work on your hands.
